Fuel injection control system designed to eliminate overlap between multiple fuel injection events

A fuel injection control system for a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine mounted in a vehicle is provided. The system works to schedule execution of a sequence of multiple injections of fuel into each of cylinders of the engine and determines whether events of any two of the injections scheduled to be executed in any two of the cylinders overlap in time with each other or not. If so, the system determines which of the two of the injections overlapping each other should be rescheduled based on operating condition of the vehicle and reschedules the execution of one of the two of the injections, as determined to be rescheduled, so as to eliminate overlap with any of the events of the injections. This avoids undesirable application of load on the system or the delay in activating fuel injectors which may arise from simultaneous activation of two of the injectors.

Digital Control Device

A digital control system for monitoring and controlling a concrete pumping system. A microcontroller provides control signals and receives feedback from associated comparator switch subsystems. Feedback from the comparator switch subsystems is used by a microcontroller to determine whether short circuit or open circuit malfunctions are occurring on solenoids valves attached to the output of the comparator switch subsystems. Said control system exhibits an electronic control means to control the admittance or interruption of current through said solenoids. Individual solenoid status is sent to a graphical display where an operator views said display to diagnose failure modes. The microcontroller further monitors the establishment of temporal initial conditions and limits operational pump activity until said temporal conditions are met.

System and method to delay closure of a normally closed electrical circuit

A system and method are provided to delay closure of an electrical circuit of a battery-powered electrical device, intended to operate remotely in an environment in which the pH value changes from one value to another. Two electrical contacts of an electrical circuit are separated by an insulator that holds the circuit open until the device is exposed to an environment having a predetermined pH value. Exposure of the insulator to an environment having that pH value causes the insulator to dissolve and the circuit to close, energizing the device. Alternatively, A Hall effect transistor or a reed switch may be used as the switch. It is held open by the presence of a magnetic field held in place by material that is dissolvable at a predetermined pH level. When a region having that pH level is reached, the material dissolves and the circuit closes.
