The invention provides a method and a system for realizing the positioning of the multipoint touch control without the need of arranging auxiliary devices on four sides of any planes. The device can realize the touch-control function on any screens and planes, even without auxiliary devices arranged on, and simultaneously conduct multipoint touch and accurate positioning; and the algorithm is efficient, and the computation of coordinates of touch point positions is accurate, reliable and convenient; elements and the structure are simple; the on-screen identification and calibration; the cost is low; and the system can be flexibly designed on arbitrary-sized screens or plane carriers for realizing the multipoint touch. The system comprises hardwares, such as an infrared laser, a projector, an infrared camera, and the like, and softwares, such a multipoint touch-control platform, and a multipoint touch-control application soft ware. The invention can realize that the multipoint touch-control device can be used and afforded by any person, and the great social and economic benefits can be generated.
