A navigation system in a vehicle stores position history information including position information related to a detection position detected by a position detector and position information related to a map matching position. The map matching position is obtained by matching the detection position with a point of a road in road map data. When the vehicle runs on a not-stored road that is not stored in the road map data, the navigation system determines a trail of running of the vehicle from departure from a stored road that is stored in the road map data to comeback into a stored road that is stored in the road map data, based on the stored position history information.

Thereby, observation images of different phases as viewed through a virtual rigid surgical device are generated.

Joint connector and wire short-circuiting method using the same

A joint connector capable of mutually short-circuiting wires reliably without an increase in the number of components and size thereof. The joint connector (JC) comprises a joint terminal for short-circuiting and a connector housing. The joint terminal includes a plurality of electric contact portions and a short-circuiting portion connecting the electric contact portions. The connector housing has a bottom wall and other walls surrounding a terminal insertion space into which each of the wire-side terminal is inserted, and a lance for locking the inserted wire-side terminal. The lance adapted to be deflected so as to project outwardly from the bottom wall, until the wire-side terminal reaches a proper insertion depth position, to be retracted from the wire-side terminal, and elastically return into the bottom wall, when the wire-side terminal reaches the position. The deflection of the lance allows the insertion of the wire-side terminal to be checked.

Vibrating type pressure sensor

A high-sensitive and high accuracy vibrating type pressure sensor (1) allowing a corrosive gas pressure to be directly applied thereto, having a heat resistance, and having no room for mixing of noise into a vibrator, comprising a stainless steel pressure receiving diaphragm (4) for receiving a fluid pressure P on a rear surface side, the vibrator (12) formed on the front surface side of the pressure receiving diaphragm (4), a wall body (8) disposed so as to surround the periphery of the vibrator (12), and a permeable part (20) for light transmission for changing an internal space in which the vibrator (12) is present into a vacuum chamber (10) by closing an opening part (8a) in the wall body (8), whereby, since the diaphragm (4) is formed of the stainless steel with corrosion resistance, the sensor can also be applied to corrosive fluid, since circuit wiring is eliminated from the vibrator (12) and the vibrator is isolatedly disposed in the vacuum chamber (10), mixing of electromagnetic noise can be eliminated, and since the resonance frequency fn of the vibrator (12) is performed by optical measurement in the state of non-contact, extremely high-sensitive and high-accuracy detection can be performed. A forced vibration device (57) can also be operated by piezo driving and electrostatic driving from the outside without generating noise.

Motor Inspection Method

A method of measuring the counter-electromotive force of the motor accurately is disclosed. The counter-electromotive force of the motor changes with the rotational position and the rotational speed. The value of the counter-electromotive force measured during the inertial rotation is a value associated the simultaneous change of the rotational position and the rotational speed and required to be corrected. The change rate of the rotational speed is set as a deceleration function, and the data are statistically processed using the measurement value of the counter-electromotive force at minuscule time intervals. In this way, the error elements are eliminated for each motor measured thereby to determine the corrected counter-electromotive force at a predetermined rotational speed. Even a miniature motor rapidly decreased in speed can be accurately measured within a short time.
