A portable scooter consists of a handlebar vertical rod (3), a handlebar cross rod (2), a handlebar (1), a brake, a frame, a flywheel (27), a transmission mechanism, a front wheel (11) and a rear wheel (25). The frame comprises a front fame (5), a low frame (16), a front fork (10) and a connecting part (13). Two handlebar vertical rod shafts (4) are equipped at the both sides of the upper end of the front frame (5), and the front frame (5) is connected with the handlebar vertical rod (3) via the handlebar vertical rod shafts (4). The front frame (5) is provided with a rear wheel recess (6), a front wheel recess (7) and a fork end from top to end. The front fork (10) is equipped with a block device at the front end, and a fork pipe rack (12) at the rear end. The front fork (10) is inserted into the fork end of the front frame (5), and the front fork (10) is connected to the front frame (5) via a front shaft (9). The connecting part (13) is connected with the front fork (10) via the fork pipe rack (12), and with the low frame (16) via a middle shaft (15), and is provided with two handlebar holes (14). The low frame (16) is provided with the front wheel recess (28). The front wheel (11) is connected with the front fork (10), and the rear wheel (25) is connected with the low frame (16) via rear shaft (26). The scooter has advantages of small volume, light weight, rapid folding and is convenient and safe to ride.
