A method for improving NOx conversion efficiency of a urea base SCR catalyst is presented. Since efficiency is reduced by the presence of hydrocarbons in the catalyst, the method proposes to regenerate the SCR by maintaining its temperature above the boiling point of hydrocarbons for a sufficient period of time to free up catalyst storage sites. The regeneration process is followed by over-injection of ammonia to replenish the ammonia released from the SCR catalyst due to high regeneration temperatures.

Engine Exhaust Systems with Secondary Air Injection Systems

A variety of embodiments of exhaust systems for engines including small off-road engines, and related methods of operation, are disclosed. In at least some embodiments, the exhaust system includes a first conduit that receives exhaust emissions from a first engine cylinder, and a second conduit that communicates air to a first port on the first conduit. The air mixes with the exhaust emissions within the first conduit so as to produce a chemical reaction, and a level of at least one undesirable component of the exhaust emissions is reduced. Further, the exhaust system does not include any catalytic converter. In some embodiments, the exhaust system further comprises a crankcase ventilation system.

The present invention relates to a power conversion device and an air conditioner comprising the same. The power conversion device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a rectification unit for rectifying input alternating current power; a boost converter for boosting power rectified from the rectification unit and outputting the same; a dc-end capacitor connected to an output end of the boost converter; an inductor current detection unit for detecting an inductor current flowing in an inductor within the boost converter; a dc-end voltage detection unit for detecting voltages of both ends of the dc-end capacitor; and a control unit for controlling the boost converter, wherein the control unit generates and outputs a converter switching control signal by performing proportional resonant control for a duty command value of a switching element within the boost converter, on the basis of the detected inductor current and dc-end voltage. Therefore, a harmonic current component flowing through a dc-end capacitor induced by a ripple component of an input voltage can be reduced.

CMOS differential buffer circuit

The present invention pertains to a MOS type differential buffer circuit. The buffer proposed herein utilizes capacitive coupling to apply small AC signals to an amplifying current source to mitigate attenuation owing to body effect and output impedance, among other things, in an associated follower component. The proposed circuit does not, however, promote an increase in current and / or power dissipation. Additionally, the circuit allows a desired gain to be achieved while maintaining a relatively constant output impedance, compared to a simple differential source follower.
