System and method for identifying and labeling fields of text associated with scanned business documents

A system for electronically distilling information from a business document uses a network scanner to electronically scan a platen area, having a business document thereon, to create a bitmap. A network server carries out a segmentation process to segment the scan generated bitmap into a bitmap object, the bitmap object corresponding to the scanned business document; a bitmap to text conversion process to convert the bitmap object into a block of text; a semantic recognition process to generate a structured representation of semantic entities corresponding to the scanned business document; and a document generation process to convert the structured representation into a structure text file. The semantic recognition process includes the processes of generating, for each line of text having a keyword therein, a terminal symbol corresponding to the keyword therein; generating, for each line of text not having a keyword therein and absent of numeric characters, an alphabetic terminal symbol; generating, for each line of text not having a keyword therein and having a numeric character therein, an alphanumeric terminal symbol; generating a string of terminal symbols from the generated terminal symbols; determining a probable parsing of the generated string of terminal symbols; labeling each text line, according to a determined function, with non-terminal symbols; and parsing the business document information text into fields of business document information text based upon the non-terminal symbol of each text line and the determined probable parsing of the generated string of terminal symbols.

System and method for preparing an image corrected for the presence of a gravity induced distortion

The present invention relates to an imaging system for obtaining an image correctable for the presence of a gravity induced image error. The imaging system includes an imager to obtain an image of an object and a position measurement device to obtain position data indicative of a gravity-induced deformation of the imager. The position data may include gravity vector data indicative of an orientation of a gravity vector.

Automatic assembling production line for high-speed rail overhead line system droppers

An automatic assembling production line for high-speed rail overhead line system droppers comprises a rack assembly (10). The automatic assembling production line is characterized in that an automatic hanger loading mechanism (1), an automatic wire clamp loading mechanism (2), an automatic upper lock washer and hexagon bolt loading mechanism (3), an automatic lock washer II loading mechanism (5), an automatic tooth surface butterfly-shaped check washer loading mechanism (6) and an automatic hexagon nut loading and screwing mechanism (7) are sequentially fixed to the rack assembly (10), parts in the droppers are turned over through a semi-finished product overturning mechanism (4), the automatic hexagon nut loading and screwing mechanism (7) is locked through a lock nut, qualified and unqualified product screening and discharging are performed on the parts through an unqualified and qualified product discharging mechanism (8), and finally a tool clamp circulating mechanism (9) switches clamps for part positioning. The automatic assembling production line replaces manual operation, and prevents a guide rod from changing color or rusting, and the product quality is ensured.

A quasi-translator for economically producing pure, smooth translational motion with broad arcuate or error-free motion regardless of orientation, which is useful in numerous interferometer applications including spectroscopy, a Fourier modulator and a Fourier spectrometer are provided. The quasi-translator utilizes a support, an arm including a driving magnet on a first end and a driven element on a second end, an axis for rotation of the arm, a bearing system that controls the rotation of the arm about the axis, a drive coil and a drive amplifier to drive the arm in the arcuate motion. The quasi-translator may be employed in a Fourier modulator to change the optical path difference of the interferometer / quasi-translator at a substantially constant rate of change. The quasi-translator and / or Fourier modulator may be used in a Fourier spectrometer to create an optical spectrum from a light beam and / or electrical signal created from the light beam.
