The invention relates to a novel central-positioned motor for an
electric bicycle. The motor comprises an electric driving section, a braking section and a
clutch section and a middle shaft penetrates through centers of all the sections. The electric driving section comprises a motor shell, and a
stator iron core and a permanent
magnet which are arranged on the inner wall of the motor shell; and the electric driving section further comprises a rotor iron core which is arranged inside the
stator iron core in a penetrating way; the braking section comprises a speed
reducer shell and a planetary gear mechanism which is arranged inside the speed
reducer shell; the inner wall of the speed
reducer shell is provided with a gear ring and the planetary gear mechanism comprises a planetary frame, a sun wheel and three planetary wheels which are arranged on the periphery of the mechanism; the
clutch section is an overrunning
clutch and comprises a clutch jacket, and a clutch planetary wheel and a planetary frame star wheel which are arranged in the clutch jacket in parallel, wherein the sun wheel is arranged inside the rotor iron core in a penetrating way and is in a key connection with the rotor iron core; the planetary frame star wheel is fixedly connected with the center of the planetary frame and the center shaft sequentially penetrates through the rotor iron core, the sun wheel, the planetary frame, the planetary frame star wheel and the clutch star wheel and is in the key connection with the clutch star wheel. In the invention, by combining a pedal shaft and a
motor shaft into a whole, the really useful central-positioned motor is realized.
