surface layer is not stripped, more
callus can be easily produced to be connected with more
callus produced at the left side and the right side of an oblique surface of the scionwood, so compared with other method, trees which are grafted with the method are easier to survive, and the
survival rate is generally more than 98 percent. At the same time, since sprout branches are remained to produce the
photosynthesis, the
bark of the parental stock is free from being rotten, and the growth on the periphery of the grafted place is good. Moreover, since the sprout branches produce the
photosynthesis, the growth situation of young sprouts can be controlled, the
nutrient supply to the parental stock and especially to the root of the parental stock can be increased, and the general growth of the parental stock after being grafted can be promoted; and a section of
tree trunk is remained, so the young sprouts can be bond onto the
tree trunk, the windproof effect is very good, support for binding a strut can be avoided, and labor and materials can be saved.
