The invention relates to an
interactive video-on-demand method. The method at least comprises the steps of arranging a command button on a
system interface of a video-on-demand terminal; designing a individual catalogue
list, wherein the individual catalogue
list is provided with a tag number and a title; inputting an individual keyword into an automatic matching resource
dialog box and searching resources with high similarity with the individual keyword by a
server; obtaining video profile information in a resource
library by the
server, searching resources similar to the individual keyword, pushing the resources to the individual catalogue
list, simultaneously storing catalogue box information into corresponding storage unit in real time and taking the tag number of the corresponding individual catalogue list as the tag of the storage unit by the
system; and expanding the individual catalogue list by a user by clicking the command button, and reading and transferring corresponding information in the storage unit to which the tag number points by the
system to achieve watching. According to the method, individual man-
machine interaction and momentarily switching of the multi-
user individual catalogue list are achieved, and the man-
machine interaction experience and
usability of an on-demand system are improved.
