Microphone comprising an hf transmitter

The invention concerns a wireless microphone system. The object of the present invention is to further develop such wireless microphone systems. A further aim of the invention is to provide an improvement in the intermodulation spacing of HF transmitters so that more transmitters can be used in the same frequency band. A wireless microphone system comprising antennae connected thereto, wherein a circulator and / or an HF isolator is connected to the antennae or the antenna.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) portal antenna mounting frame

A radio frequency identification (RFID) portal easily installs and integrates any RFID hardware / software systems. The RFID portal may match the size of a traditional dock or be custom sized. The portal takes advantage of a variety of unique features including an antenna bracket that provides for three-dimensional vertical and horizontal movements and a hardware independent reader bracket. The antenna movement capabilities allow for excellent RFID signal coverage. A General Purpose Input / Output (GPIO) bridge enables rapid integration and functionality to other RFID inputs such as Motion Detectors / Photo Eyes, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Wireless Networking, floor loops, mass detectors, and output signals, such as to light stacks and RFID readers.

Flexible multichannel WLAN access point architecture

A removable antenna assembly and wireless access point including the same is disclosed in which a plurality of antenna elements are provided for transmitting and receiving wireless signals over a plurality of wireless channels. A sectorized mounting structure is provided for retaining each of the plurality of antenna elements substantially in an antenna isolation configuration, so as to enable simultaneous sectorized signal communication of the antenna elements over the wireless channels. A removable network interface is provided for selectively enabling a signal connection between a radio digital interface component and the plurality of antennas.

Quick release stowage system for transporting mobile satellite antennas

A mobile satellite antenna system has a first portion that includes an elevation mechanism, and a second portion that includes a dish with a dish back support structure. These portions can be readily connected or disconnected by a set of quick-connect fasteners that selectively fasten the elevation mechanism of the first portion to the dish back support structure of the second portion. Both portions of the satellite antenna system can be separately stored and transported in containers.

Removable antennas for electronic devices

A removable antenna is provided for an electronic device such as a laptop computer. An antenna resonating element is mounted within the antenna. Magnetic coupling structures are used to magnetically attach the antenna to the electronic device. The magnetic coupling structures couple the antenna resonating element to circuitry in the electronic device. The electronic device may have an antenna receptacle that holds the antenna in a stowed position and allows the antenna to extend to an extended position. A user may extend the antenna by sliding the antenna or by rotating the antenna to its extended position. The coupling structures may allow the antenna to break away from the electronic device without damage.

Button antenna for handheld devices

Antennas, handheld electronic devices containing antennas, and methods for using antennas and handheld electronic devices are provided. A handheld device may have a conductive case. The antenna can be formed as part of a button such as a pushbutton. The pushbutton may protrude from the conductive case sufficiently to allow good transmission and reception of wireless signals. The protruding antenna contains a radiating element, while the conductive case serves as a ground. The radiating element may be formed from a low-profile antenna structure such as a planar antenna structure formed on a circuit board substrate. The pushbutton may be used to control operation of the handheld electronic device. With one suitable arrangement, actuation of the pushbutton antenna causes the antenna to protrude from the case and turns on transceiver circuitry in the handheld device.
