A system for treating a vascular condition includes a conduit having an inner wall and at least one locking member positioned within the inner wall of the conduit. The system also includes a stented valve positioned in contact with the locking member within the inner wall of the conduit. A method for treating a vascular condition includes inserting a conduit with a stented valve into a target region of a vessel, positioning a contact portion of the stented valve against a locking portion of the conduit and preventing migration of the stented valve within the conduit based on the positioning.

This invention relates to methods and devices providing transmyocardial blood flow or coronary revascularization for the treatment of coronary atherosclerosis and resulting myocardial ischemia by increasing the flow of blood from one or more oxygenated blood sources within the patient to one or more sites selected in the arterial vascular system of the heart using a channel for maintaining and regulating blood flow therebetween. A first thermally-conductive container stores a metal hydride while a second thermally-conductive container stores a metal alloy that is capable of absorbing hydrogen atoms at a pressure that is less than the storage pressure of the metal hydride. Systems, devices, and methods for leak testing surgical conduit grafts or valved conduits such as aortic-valved conduits with a pressurized gas such as air. Air is non-destructive and especially useful for leak testing conduits that have coatings or sealants that may be functionally impacted when exposed to fluids such as water or saline. Open ends of the conduit are clamped and sealed, and a pressurized gas introduced into an inner lumen thereof. A change in mass flow rate is measured to quantify the leakage.
