Distribution network feed out circuit fault circuit selection method by using HHT detection technology

The present invention is a distribution network cable-line mixed fault circuit selection method by using HHT detection technology. The invention uses HHT singularity detection technology to calibrate fault occurring time accurately, and implements circuit selection according to a principle that, when a fault occurs transient fault zero-sequence current component of the fault circuit and the regular circuit is opposite in direction. The specific method is using HHT to proceed EMD decomposition to the sampling signal of before and after 1 / 4 period each circuit fault zero-sequence current that is morphological filter pretreated, obtaining highest frequency IMF component of each circuit fault zero-sequence current and proceeding a first-order backward difference treatment to the IMF component, comparing the polar mutation of the fault zero-sequence current IMF component at fault moment, and then forming a circuit selection criterion. Analysis and simulation of the principle shows that, using fault information of 1 / 4 period after the fault to select circuit can provide an accurate and reliable circuit selection result and avoid effects of paraphrase and CT saturation on circuit selection accrracy.

Cable slack manager system and method

A cable slack management system is used in conjunction with a conventional component rack to secure cables of excess length to minimize disturbance, interference, and general clutter that the excess cable length would otherwise cause. In one implementation, the cable slack management system includes a slack management panel that is attached to two opposing vertical members of a rack to extend horizontally between the members as a cross-member of the rack. If more than one cable slack management system is installed in a rack, typically the slack management panels are placed between component panels in some alternating fashion. In an alternative implementation, the slack management panels are vertically oriented, and are typically mounted adjacent to a rack. The cable slack management system also includes one or more cable spools for each slack management panel. The cable spools allow cable to be wrapped around them thereby securing the cable.

ActiveCN101545943ARealize line selectionAdaptableFault locationWavelet decompositionEngineering
The invention relates to a self-adaptive method for fault line selection of a cable-wire mixed line of an electric distribution network by using full-band wavelet energy relative entropy. The method comprises the following steps: when the zero-sequence voltage instantaneous value of a bus is out of limit, starting a fault line selection device immediately; performing wavelet decomposition on zero-sequence current in 1 / 4 cycle after the fault of each line, performing single reconstruction on wavelet decomposition coefficients under each scale, and calculating the wavelet energy under each band of the zero-sequence current of each line by using reconstruction coefficients; and calculating the wavelet energy relative entropy under each band of each line and solving the comprehensive wavelet energy relative entropy of each line by combining the super-strong recognition capability of the relative entropy to slight differences between signals, and self-adaptively selecting out the fault line by comparing the size of the full band comprehensive wavelet energy relative entropy of each line. Theoretical analyses and a large number of emulations show that the method effectively avoids the influence caused by a CT saturation discontinuous angle on the line selection, and is applicable to the cable-wire mixed lines, pure cable lines and pure aerial lines.

Electric power controlling method through a serial bus

A method of demanding / supplying a necessary electric power through a self-adjusting process between two devices connected by a Universal Serial Bus (USB), removing the requirement of disconnecting and re-connecting cable lines in order to make a power demand again. A power supplying device first determines how much electric power is demanded by a demanding device, then sends the device a signal of impossible supply or the like if the demand can not be met. The supplying device also determines whether or not a new electric power demand can be supplied if the demanding device demands again, and the supplying device then supplies power to the demanding device if the demand can be met. A power demanding device demands an electric power from a supplying device connected through the USB. The connected power demanding device first reduces the demand if a signal of impossible supply or the like is received from the supplying device, then demands the reduced amount from the supplying device.

Distribution network fault line selection method using non-power frequency transient state component

The invention discloses a new method for performing fault line selection by using the characteristic of a non-power frequency transient state fault component for extracting single-phase fault zero-sequence current by using Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT). The method comprises the following steps: performing EMD decomposition on fault zero-sequence current of each feeder line by using the HHT to acquire an IMF component of the zero-sequence current of each feeder line; constructing a resolving signal according to Hilbert transform, solving instantaneous amplitude and frequency of the zero-sequence current of each feeder line, and eliminating a power frequency component in the instantaneous frequency of the zero-sequence current of each feeder line to acquire a non-power frequency fault component; and forming a line selection criterion according to the characteristics that the amplitude of the non-power frequency fault component of the fault line is greater than that of the non-fault line and the polarity of the fault line is opposite to that of the non-fault line. The line selection method is not affected by an arc suppression coil, and is applicable to non-grounded, arc suppression coil grounded and high-resistor grounded systems, overhead lines or cable lines and cable overhead mixed lines; and the line selection result shows that the method applied to low-current single-phase grounding fault line selection is accurate and reliable.

Natural fiber span reflectometer providing a spread spectrum virtual sensing array capability

A CW lightwave modulated by a continuously reiterated autocorrelated spectrum-spreading signal is launched into an end of a span of ordinary optical fiber cable. Portions of this lightwave back propagate to the launch end from a continuum of span locations because of innate fiber properties including Rayleigh effects. This is picked off the launch end and heterodyned producing an r.f. beat signal. The beat signal is processed by a plurality (can be thousands) of multifunction despreader, autocorrelator and de-multiplexer units respectively operated in different time delayed relationships to the timing base of launch signal reiteration. This provides r.f. time-domain reflectometry outputs representative of acoustic, or other signals incident upon virtual sensors at positions along the fiber corresponding to the various delay relationships. Material attenuation of undesired noises (e.g., reflections due to presence of couplers in the fiber cable line) is effected by the spectrum spreading and de-spreading.
