An apparatus for extracting bodily fluid (e.g., whole blood) from a user's finger includes a housing with a lancing mechanism and a clamping mechanism attached to thereto. The clamping mechanism includes a lower arm assembly and an upper arm assembly. The upper and lower arm assemblies are operatively connected such that when a user's finger applies a user force to the lower arm assembly and displaces the lower arm assembly from a first to a second position, the upper and lower arm assemblies cooperate to engage the user's finger with a compressive force that is greater than the user force. In addition, the lancing mechanism is configured to lance a target site on the user's finger while the upper and lower arm assemblies are cooperating to engage the user's finger. Thereafter, the compressive force serves to extract a bodily fluid sample from the lanced target site.

The invention discloses a remediation method for hexavalent chromium polluted soil and underground water. The remediation method comprises the following steps: step (10): putting a pile machine in place; step (20): independently injecting acidified bentonite slurry loaded with active carbon powder and bentonite slurry loaded with zero-valent iron powder into the ground by using stirring and injection equipment and stirring; step (30): detecting the reduction effect of hexavalent chromium in the soil and the underground water; step (40): injecting bentonite and industrial waste alkali mixed slurry; and step (50): detecting the remediation effect of hexavalent chromium and trivalent chromium. By virtue of the remediation method, remediation chemicals can be in direct and sufficient contact with the soil and the underground water to react, so that the hexavalent chromium in the soil and the underground water can be completely reduced; meanwhile, an indissolvable stable compound is formed by the trivalent chromium and the useless loss of the remediation chemicals can be reduced; the potential of hydrogen of a stratum is balanced; and the remediation method is suitable for the large-area hexavalent chromium polluted stratums different in potential of hydrogen and moisture content.

The invention discloses a competitive bidding simulation system and method based on a multi-agent and multi-electricity market model. The invention is characterized in that the system comprises the following four layers (six modules): a user interface layer comprising a graphical user interface (GUI) module, a control logic layer comprising a Server module and a Remote module, a simulation logic layer comprising an ISO module and a GenCo module, and a data information layer comprising a database module. The simulation method comprises the following steps: 1) as the system is started up, establishing a Server Agent module, and entering into a waiting state; 2) inputting a task enabling the system to enter into simulation through the GUI module by a system administrator; 3) starting up the simulation task; and 4) processing simulation data, thus finishing one simulation case. The invention ensures that the existing actual requirements on electricity market simulation are met, and higher system stability can be provided.
