The invention provides
dormancy control equipment for a
hybrid energy powered mobile communication
base station. The
control equipment comprises a controller and a storage device, wherein the storagedevice stores the following instruction steps loaded and run by the controller: calculating a
broadband constraint condition and an
energy constraint condition when the
base station enters a dormant state; counting down by various non-dormant base stations according to respective energy virtual clocks, and when the energy virtual clocks of the non-dormant base stations are zero, judging whether the non-dormant base stations meet the
energy constraint condition or not, and if yes, then sending a
dormancy request to an adjacent non-dormant
base station; and judging whether the non-dormant base
station which receives the
dormancy request meets the
broadband constraint condition or not, if yes, then replying confirmation information of agreeing to be dormant to the non-dormant base
station, after confirming the information by the non-dormant base
station, switching the service to the adjacent non-dormant base station by the non-dormant base station, and entering the dormant state by the non-dormant base station. According to the dormancy

service quality of a terminal, the purposes of network energy saving and emission reduction is realized.
