The invention provides an experimental dust generator, in particular to a funnel suction nozzle type dust generator which can control quantity, particle diameter and concentration of dust, is simple in integral structure, convenient to operate, wide in application range and relatively good in packaging. The dust generator comprises a stirring motor, a case, a stirring rod, a dust feeding funnel, a suction nozzle, a rotary table, a negative pressure tube, a dust outlet, a stepping motor, a monitoring sensor, a negative-pressure generating device, a microcomputer, a remote controller, an electromagnetic valve, a stepping motor driver and a fault sensor, wherein the stirring rod is used for stirring the dust in the funnel to allow the dust to flow uniformly; when the rotary table rotates under the driving of the stepping motor, the dust flows into the rotary table from the outlet at the bottom of the funnel in a linear manner; the negative-pressure generating device controlled by the microcomputer sucks the dust into the cavity of the negative-pressure generating device through the suction nozzle connected with the negative pressure tube, and the dust is sprayed out after being fully mixed with the air for dust concentration testing analysis and for studying of dust distribution law, migration law, settling law and the like.
