Method, system and computer product for cardiac interventional procedure planning

A method of creating 3D models to be used for cardiac interventional procedure planning. Acquisition data is obtained from a medical imaging system and cardiac image data is created in response to the acquisition data. A 3D model is created in response to the cardiac image data and three anatomical landmarks are identified on the 3D model. The 3D model is sent to an interventional system where the 3D model is in a format that can be imported and registered with the interventional system.

Home health point-of-care and administration system

A home health point-of-care and administration system and method that has at least one mobile device that is adapted to establish bi-directional communication with a server system is provided. Tracking and data communication software are associated with the mobile device in various embodiments. One or more input components of the mobile device allow for input of information from a user (such as a visiting home healthcare staff member) and the mobile device is adapted for receipt of instructional and other information from the server system to build a dynamic visit record. The record provides detailed information related to off-site visits such as tasks performed by the visiting staff member using the mobile device. Start and finish times of the visit may also be recorded. A global positioning system (GPS) application operating in conjunction with the communication device and server system may be employed to monitor the actions of the visiting staff member. Such information is provided in individual visit records transmitted to the remote server system and may be used for administrative purposes.

Computational medical treatment plan method and system with mass medical analysis

The present disclosure is directed toward global medical data analysis methods, systems, and computer program products for analyzing, classifying, and matching mass amounts of medical information from many sources and across different regions. The global medical data analysis system includes a medical main server that contains an intelligent medical engine, which is communicatively coupled to a central database, a confidential electronic medical records database, and further communicatively coupled through a network to hospitals, clinics, and other medical sources. The intelligent medical engine receives voluminous medical record, potentially from different countries, regions, and continents. Electronic Medical records are sourced from hospitals, clinics, and other medical sources, which are fed into the intelligent medical engine for large-scale analysis and correlation of patients' medical records globally. The analysis starts by degrouping (classifying) medical records into multiple levels of subgroups according to patient clinical parameters, disease templates, treatments and outcomes. When a new patient enters the system, that patient's parameters and disease template are matched against the closest subgroups to suggest treatments with potentially favorable outcomes.

Methods and systems for monitoring and enhancing patient compliance with a health treatment program

Methods and systems for enabling and supporting patient compliance with a health treatment program or with health-related instructions from a caregiver are described. An interactive feedback loop is implemented that enhances and improves on present methods of monitoring and supporting patient compliance with treatment programs, particularly for patients with chronic conditions. A patient enters various types of data (e.g., biometric readings, diary entries, responses to surveys and health assessments, etc.) to a health data management system that includes a patient compliance monitoring system. The patient is encouraged to enter as much data as is practical and as frequently as possible. The feedback loop of the present invention provides compliance messages to the patient in a timely manner that are responsive to the data entered by the patient. The messages are customized, supportive, and timely. The system can also implement a reward scheme in which patients who go beyond their prescribed treatment program or consistently stay within a compliance range obtain direct financial benefits or rewards. The system also allows patients to sends feedback on the messages he or she receives from the system. This feedback can be used to measure the effectiveness of a treatment program or of the monitoring system itself. Healthcare professionals play an active role in tailoring and “signing off” the compliance-related messages that the patient receives.
