Nail art method and device

According to the present invention, a method and an apparatus therefor are provided that enable to automatically print a desired nail art picture on one's own fingernail surface. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: holding a nail surface (2) on a finger holder (9); selecting one or more nail art pictures from nail art pictures stored in a computer (4), as a printing pattern; moving either one or both of a nozzle unit (1) and the finger holder (9) by controlling of the computer (4); and printing the selected printing pattern on the nail surface (2) by having ink jetted ink from the nozzle unit (1) by controlling of the computer (4). The apparatus of the present invention comprises: a computer (4); a finger holder (9); a nozzle unit (1) controlled by the computer (4); and moving device (3) for moving either one or both of the nozzle unit (1) and the finger holder (9) controlled by the computer (4). It may be arranged that the computer (4) has a display (22) and data input device, such as a video movie camera (28), connected thereto, to input and display printing patterns and printing masks for limiting the printing areas of the printing patterns, edit either one or both of printing patterns and printing masks on the screen (23) of the display (22), display printing patterns with printing masks put thereon, on the nail surface of a nail image, and select and store a printing pattern with a printing mask(s) put thereon.

UV LED Curing Apparatus with Improved Housing and Switch Controller

The present invention is related to an UV LED curing apparatus, and more particularly, to an UV LED curing apparatus with improved housing and switch controller. The UV LED curing apparatus of the present invention is preferably provided for curing UV hardening gel applied onto the nails of multiple fingers or toes all at once and with automatic controls; the UV LED curing apparatus comprises a light reflective inner casing enclosing a curing chamber having a front opening, an outer casing detachably attached to the inner casing and an UV LED light source disposed on the inner casing and capable of providing an illumination covering a large space in the curing chamber. The automatic controls of the apparatus may be achieved by a switch controller having a photo interrupter, timer and current regulator such that the UV light from the UV LED light source is triggered to an on-state by the sensor of the photo interrupter and switched to an off-state by the timer and current regulator with reference to a preset curing time automatically. The UV LED light source is preferably to be of a wavelength between 360 nm and 460 nm. The light reflective inner casing is preferably provided as an effective UV light reflector and as a supporting substrate of the UV LED light source while being capable of transmitting heat from the UV LED light source away for further heat dissipation to the ambient by the outer casing. The outer casing is detachably attached to the inner casing and allows a greater user interaction for decorative and entertainment purposes while also being a protective and heat dissipation means.

Pedicure basin liner system

A pedicure basin liner system, for preventing transmission of pathogens between pedicure clients when using a common pedicure basin. The pedicure basin has side walls, a bottom portion, and a top lip, which together define an interior volume capable of containing and supporting a quantity of water during a pedicure procedure. To prevent the water from actually contacting the basin while allowing the basin to support the weight of the water, the basin is covered with a liner that is shaped to fit closely within the basin against its bottom portion and side walls, and extend over the top lip. The liner is subsequently filled with water and the basin supports the weight of the water while remaining isolated from the water. After the pedicure procedure is performed, the water and the liner are disposed of.

Bleaching device using electro-optical and chemical means, namely in the medical and dental field

A device for bleaching a part of the human body has a wave-current generator, a plurality of electrodes and a conductive gel. The conductive gel is maintained in contact with the part of the body. An active product is cooperative with the gel so as to be activated under the presence of light or heat. A conductive circuit and a resistor define poles of the electrodes on the container of the conductive gel and the part of the body. The photosensitive bleaching product is activated by applying photonic energy of a wavelength of 400 to 500 nanometers.
