The present invention is a system that includes a tracking menu that tracks the movement of a position transducer, such as a stylus or a mouse, as the transducer is moved about in association with a display. The menu is typically displayed on top of other objects in the display. The menu includes a tracking symbol, such as an arrow or cursor, positioned corresponding to inputs from the transducer as it is moved by a user. A mobile tracking region is also included. This tracking region has a tracking boundary or edge enclosing the tracking symbol where the tracking symbol is movable within the boundary or hits without the menu moving. The tracking region or entire menu moves in correspondence to the tracking symbol when the tracking symbol encounters the boundary or hits while the symbol is moving. The tracking region also has menu controls or buttons that are activatable when the tracking symbol corresponds to the controls.

The invention provides a tracking system and a tracking method, and relates to the tracking field. The tracking system is used for controlling a mobile tracking end to track a mobile target end. The tracking system comprises a distance determination unit, which is used for determining the current relative distance of the tracking end with respect to the target end; an angle determination unit, which is used for determining the current relative angle of the tracking end with respect to the target end; a target end speed obtaining unit, which is used for obtaining current target movement speed of the target end; and a controller, which is used for adjusting the current tracking movement speed and current tracking movement posture of the tracking end according to the current relative distance, the current relative angle and the current target movement speed to enable the tracking end to basically keep a preset relative distance and preset relative angle of the tracking end with respect to the target end. Through the speed, the tracking end is allowed to respond to the movement of the target end more timely, thereby reducing retardation time; and since the tracking end keeps consistent in speed with the target end, inertia due to sudden speed increase or reduction is reduced, thereby realizing accurate tracking.

There is provided a three-axes pedestal for stabilizing the pointing of a mobile tracking antenna. The upper part of the second frame may hold a second linear bearing assembly, with the third frame being interconnected to the second frame via the second linear bearing assembly, and with the second linear bearing assembly providing a direction of linear slide movement and an axis of rotation for the third frame, thereby providing an axis of rotation for the second axis in a plane perpendicular to the direction of linear slide movement provided by the second linear bearing assembly.

Multi-point accurate positioning and tracing method for wireless sensor network

The invention discloses a multi-nodal accurate positioning and tracking method of a wireless sensor network. Positioning fixed nodes in the wireless sensor network are distributed at the peak of a regular quadrangle; each node in the sensor network is used for data acquisition and transmission; the positioning fixed nodes not only are related to a data route, but also are used for receiving positioning signals transmitted by a positioned node or a tracked node; and the positioning fixed nodes are used for calculating the distance between each fixed node and the positioned node through carrying out energy statistic to the signals, transmitting the distance to the gateway node of the wireless sensor network, and transmitting the distance to a PC machine through the gateway node. After collecting the positioning signals of all the positioning fixed nodes, the PC machine is used for calculating the position of the positioned node or a mobile node by using the multi-nodal positioning method and tracing out the movement track of the mobile tracking node through software. The invention reduces the wireless positioning cost and improves the positioning accuracy and the traceability. The invention plays an active driving role in the accurate positioning of the wireless sensor network and the tracking technology development.

A cellular wireless communication system includes base transceiver stations and mobile stations that operate with a closed loop power control. The mobile tracking is performed based on the lock in and lock out thresholds by the base transceiver stations. A forward link power control bit is decoded from the reverse channel. An additional threshold is introduced for determining at the base transceiver station whether the decoded forward link power control bit is valid or invalid. The finger energies obtained from a finger processor formed by a RAKE receiver of the base transceiver station are compared to the additional validation threshold. The additional validation threshold is independent of the tracking thresholds and usually greater than them. The validation performance may not be affected by low signal / noise. The forward link traffic channel gain of the base transceiver station is controlled in response to the invalidity of the decoded forward power control bit. The decoding of the reverse link power control bit and the validity determination of the decoded reverse link power control bit are performed by similar methods to those of the forward link power control bit. With improved validation methods, the forward link and reverse link transmission power is more accurately controlled.
