intelligent network device includes: a network manager, a
veneer, a main CPU and a slave CPU, wherein the main CPU calculates the
cross connection based on the
cross connection information in the configuration information sent by the network manager, and sends it to the
veneer, the slave CPU calculates the
cross connection based on the cross connection information in the configuration information sent by the network manager or the
optical path topology state and / or
optical path alarm information, and sends it to the
veneer via the main CPU. According to the invention, two CPU systems are arranged in the intelligent optical
path network device to operate the host
computer software and intelligent
software, which effectively solves the problem that the host
computer software can not respond the commond of manager or maintenance information sent by the veneer in time due to the CPU resource
preemption of intelligent
software when the job is busy, therefor greatly enhancing the
processing ability of the intelligent optical
path network device.
