The invention discloses a channel
estimation method comprising the following steps of: transmitting a monophonic
composite signal with a plurality of interested-frequencies by a
signal transmitting terminal according to the promise between the
signal transmitting terminal and a
signal receiving terminal; rapidly calculating the
frequency spectrum of the received signal by using a
Goertzel algorithm after the signal receiving terminal receives the
composite signal; then, selecting a most correlative experience channel model as a
communication channel model after
correlation analysis is carried out on all experience
channel models; and feeding the selected channel model back to the signal transmitting terminal, wherein the channel model is selected by the signal receiving terminal. Thus, a transmitting signal is pre-emphasized by the signal transmitting terminal according to the selected channel model before transmission to offset channel
distortion, and furthermore, the signal receiving reliability of the signal receiving terminal is improved. Channel
estimation is realized by using the
Goertzel algorithm and a correlation calculation method, so that the channel
estimation method is low in calculated quantity, high in speed, high in channel estimation accuracy rate, simple in hardware and easy to be integrated with other communication terminals.
