The invention discloses an over-voltage protection device, comprising a shell, a metal oxide piezoresistor in the shell, a movable electrode and a static electrode, wherein one end of the movable electrode is installed on the shell, one end of the static electrode is connected with the metal oxide piezoresistor, the other end of the static electrode is connected with the other end of the movable electrode by soldering, and the end of the static electrode, connected with the movable electrode, and the movable electrode are soldered in an inclined angle manner so as to realize vertically crosswise soldering. The soldering manner provided by the invention is beneficial to overcoming of the defects of false soldering, air holes and the like caused by face-to-face soldering of the movable and static electrodes of traditional over-voltage protection devices.
