The invention provides a volumetric 3D
display device based on reciprocating image scanning and a control method thereof. The volumetric 3D
display device comprises a vacuum shell, a display module, alinear
reciprocating motion mechanism, an ultra-short focus high-speed projection device, a motion
frequency detection device, a vacuum degree detection device, a
motion control module and an upper computer, wherein the display module and the linear
reciprocating motion mechanism are arranged in the vacuum shell. The motion components are positioned in a vacuum environment, the
drag coefficient can be greatly reduced, operations can be performed at a higher scanning frequency, the 3D imaging resolution is increased, the device is small in
mechanical vibration and
noise, and the service life of the device is prolonged. The motion
frequency detection device is used for detecting a real motion frequency of the device in real time, and the upper computer is used for updating display images ofthe high-speed projection device in real time according to a refresh ratio, so that the condition that the display effect is influenced by image
distortion is avoided. The vacuum degree detection device is capable of detecting the vacuum degree information of the vacuum shell in real time, and the optimal motion frequency is provided for the
system, so that the optional 3D display effect of the device is achieved.
