Quick change blow mold tooling includes a pair of mold cavity blocks that cooperate to define a series of blow cavities. The tooling further includes a pushup plate having a series of bottom contours that plug the otherwise open bottoms of the cavities when the pushup plate is against the bottom of the mold blocks. Each mold block is quickly attached to and detached from its supporting back plate using studs that fit into receiving holes on the back plate and cam locking shafts that are accessible from opposite side edges of the back plates. The back plates thus remain secured to platens of the bottle forming machine during change out of the tooling. Similarly, the push up plate has a pair of locking studs projecting from the underside thereof that are received within socket members attached to the machine. The socket members are provided with quick release threaded couplers that can be locked and unlocked by hand.

A quick release hub for the outer tires and wheels of dual wheel assemblies on a vehicle such as a mortar buggy to enable the vehicle to move through a narrow doorway or other passageway having a width less than the total distance between the outermost surfaces of the outer tires. The quick release hub includes a two component hub secured together by a single fastening device which enables quick and easy removal and replacement of the outer tires and wheels. A combination engine electrical control switch for the mortar buggy engine automatically controls a fuel supply valve to open and close the fuel valve in response to the engine control switch. An operator's platform and brake actuator are mounted at the rear of the mortar buggy with the brake actuator extending transversely at the forward portion of the platform to enable an operator to use either foot to operate the brake actuator.

Tool for shaping a workpiece

The present invention relates to a tool for shaping a workpiece. The tool has two pivotally connected arms that are stroked between open and closed positions. Each arm has a handle, an intermediate coupling portion and a working portion. One working portion has a cutting block with a face and two sidewalls that form a pair of spaced apart cutting edges. The other working portion has a pair of spaced apart ramp or wedge shaped blades with cutting edges that are aligned to shearingly engage the cutting edges of the cutting block. The tool is stroked to its open position to align the cutting block with the workpiece. The tool is then stroked to its closed position to form a pair of opposed flaps in the workpiece. The flaps form a slot having a desired width. The tool preferably includes a depth adjustment mechanism for selectively setting the tool to open to a desired intermediate position so that when the tool is aligned with the workpiece it will cut the workpiece to a desired depth.

Nail set hammer

Nail set hammer with a hand held hammer, a nail set tool, a cover panel, a compression spring and a magnet. The hammer handle has a recessed portion capable of storing the nail set tool. The recess portion is enclosed by the cover panel which is flush with the outside surface of the hammer handle. The cover panel includes a downwardly disposed magnet that holds the nail set tool in place within the recess. The cover is attached to the handle by a hinge pin so that when a person presses on the end of the cover panel, the nail set tool is lifted from within the recess so that it can be removed by the user. The nail set tool can be easily removed and replaced from the recess by the user without undue interruption of the nailing or nail setting operations being performed by the user.

Quick change small footprint testing system and method of use

A testing system for semiconductor chips having a removable device under test printed circuit board (DUT PCB) that electrically connects with the electrical testing components of the system. A removable top plate is placed on top of the DUT PCB and is locked in place by a plurality of locking posts that selectively connect to cam surfaces in the top plate that pull the top plate down sandwiching the DUT PCB between the top plate and the electrical testing components of the system. The DUT PCB is quickly and easily removed and replaced by moving the locking posts between an engaged position and a disengaged position. In this way, a single testing system can be used to test a great variety of semiconductor chips thereby reducing capital equipment costs and space needed in cleanrooms.

Force deflection and resistance testing system and method of use

A testing system for electrical interconnects having a removable device under test printed circuit board (DUT PCB) that electrically connects with the electrical testing components of the system. A removable top plate is placed on top of the DUT PCB and is locked in place by a plurality of locking posts that selectively connect to cam surfaces in the top plate that pull the top plate down sandwiching the DUT PCB between the top plate and the electrical testing components of the system. An actuator is also presented that presses the device under test into the electrical interconnect at increments where tests are performed on one, some or all of the contact points of the electrical interconnect. This information is then analyzed and graphed to assist with determine the optimum force and / or height to use during actual use.
