An energy management system uses an expert engine and a numerical solver to determine an optimal manner of using and controlling the various energy consumption, producing and storage equipment in a plant/communities in order to for example reduce energy costs within the plant, and is especially applicable to plants that require or that are capable of using and/or producing different types of energy at different times. The energy management system operates the various energy manufacturing and energy usage components of the plant to minimize the cost of energy over time, or at various different times, while still meeting certain constraints or requirements within the operational system, such as producing a certain amount of heat or cooling, a certain power level, a certain level of production, etc. In some cases, the energy management system may cause the operational equipment of the plant to produce unneeded energy that can be stored until a later time and then used, or that can be sold back to a public utility, for example, so as to reduce the overall cost of energy within the plant.

A three-dimensional anatomical map of the tissue is generated and displayed with the map defining a corresponding volume. An index is generated corresponding to a location within the volume with the index indicative of a state of ablation therapy at the location. The index may be derived from one or more factors such as the duration an ablation electrode is present at the location, the amount of energy provided, the degree of electrical coupling between an ablation electrode and the tissue at the location and temperature. A visual characteristic (e.g., color intensity) of a portion of the anatomical map corresponding to the location is then altered responsive to the index.

Compared with the cooling method of radiation cooling and water cooling, the system related by the invention has strong gas cooling control capacity and high industrial controllability; the gas is fed into the heat exchange platform evenly, so that the whole temperature of the heatexchange platform is even, which is in favor of even nucleation of a silicon melt at the bottom of the crucible; and the reducing speed of the temperature at the bottom of the crucible can be precisely controlled during the crystal growth.

A method is provided for estimating the amount of supercharging in a formation penetrated by a wellbore. According to the method, pressure fluctuation measurements are obtained at a position in the formation accessible from the well bore and at an adjacent position in the wellbore, and a model is provided which relates variations in pressure with time at these positions to one or more adjustable parameters from which the amount of supercharging can be estimated. The or each parameter is then adjusted to optimise the fit between the pressure variations predicted by the model and the measured pressure fluctuations, and the amount of supercharging is estimated from the adjusted parameter(s).
