Implant anchor systems

The present invention provides implant devices configured to become anchored within tissue so that they do not migrate despite experiencing aggressive migration forces applied by the highly dynamic movement of muscle tissue that surrounds them. Additionally, methods for placing the devices so that they remain securely anchored within the tissue are provided. The devices are comprised of a flexible body, preferably formed from a helical wound spring. In a preferred embodiment the spring is wound from a ribbon-like filament having series of barbs or ridges formed along the proximal facing edge of the wound ribbon. The ribbon-like filament may be etched from a flat sheet of material, having barbs formed along one edge. The filament may then be wrapped into a helical coil shape to take the form of an implant having barbs formed along the proximally facing edge of each coil to resist migration.

Payment services for multi-national corporations

A central coordinating body (CCB) is part of a global commercial card processing system. The CCB provides standards, relationships, management protocols, problem resolution, processing, data sourcing and reporting capabilities. The local card issuer services a client locally on behalf of the lead card issuer. The lead issuer and CCB enter into an agreement that defines services that will be performed for the client by local issuers and services to be performed by CCB. The local issuers and CCB enter into an agreement defining the services to be provided for the client. A list of services to be provided is published that describes the services provided by a local issuer. The agreements specify a bid process for when an RFP is received from a client. Revenue from transactions received by a local issuer is sent to the lead issuer. The local issuer and CCB charge fees for the services provided to the lead issuer.

Warning tube

InactiveUS20070126600A1Inherent flexibilityPrevents inadvertent turning of a fittingRoad vehicles traffic controlTraffic signalsDriver/operatorEngineering
The warning tube guides drivers around an obstacle such as a construction site. Beginning with a base that has a neck, the warning tube has corrugations like an accordion, a sleeve at the lower end, its own neck at the upper end, and a variety of fittings temporarily placed into the neck. The fittings include a cap, a reflector, a light, and a traffic sign like a yield sign, among other things. After the sleeve is placed upon the neck of the base, the tube is expanded upward to position a fitting visible to drivers. The corrugations of the tube are bent at an angle to indicate the direction of the road ahead of the warning tube.
