This invention relates to Recreational Vehicles (RVs) such as motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth-wheel type camper trailers. The invention provides for a Recreational Vehicle configured with an integrated open-top cargo bed or pickup bed for carrying a wide variety of external loads, located in a portion of the aft end of the RV.

A corner seal device for use in combination with wiper seals used in slide-out rooms in recreational vehicles. The corner seal device has a first generally horizontal surface and a second generally vertical surface meeting to form a corner. A third surface extends obliquely from the first surface and has at least some portion that is above the first surface. An end wall may be used to connect the third surface to the second surface. The corner seal device may also be used with a wiper seal having an inner shelf that extends over the third surface of the corner seal device. The inner shelf may also have a C-channel at the end that covers the upper most portion of the third surface of the corner seal device.

Method and apparatus for providing a service to a slide out room are disclosed. The apparatus includes an outer slide, a connector, and a service carrier. The service carrier carries a service. The connector receives at least a portion of the service carrier and slidably engages the outer slide. The movement of the connector corresponds with the movement of the slide out room. The method includes the steps of: attaching the expandable service connector to the recreational vehicle; connecting one end of the expandable service connector to the recreational vehicle; and connecting a second end of the expandable service connector to the slide out room. A further optional step may include attaching a cover over the connector.

This invention provides a solution to the unpleasant and unhygienic chore of cleaning and transporting a reusable sewer hose on a recreational vehicle or cabin trailer. A disposable sewer hose comprises: a compressed spiral member having generally uniform turns which are in direct contact with each other before elongation; and, a plastic sleeve slidably surrounding the spiral member having opposite open ends. When the spiral member is maximally compressed the turns thereof are in direct contact with each other unseparated by the plastic sleeve, thereby facilitating maximal compression and elongation. In a preferred aspect of the invention a tube which is sized to be matably received within a male connector houses the disposable sewer hose before and after use. A flexible strip having opposite end portions has one end portion longitudinally attached to the tube, and the other opposite end portion having a hole therethrough. When the tube is mated within the connector, the hole on the other end of the strip may be positioned over and around a nipple on the connector thereby releasably locking the tube within the connector.
