324 results about "Product order" patented technology

In mathematics, given two partially ordered sets A and B, the product order (also called the coordinatewise order or componentwise order) is a partial ordering on the cartesian product A × B. Given two pairs (a₁, b₁) and (a₂, b₂) in A × B, one defines (a₁, b₁) ≤ (a₂, b₂) if and only if a₁ ≤ a₂ and b₁ ≤ b₂. Another possible ordering on A × B is the lexicographical order, which is a total ordering. However the product order of two totally ordered sets is not in general total; for example, the pairs (0, 1) and (1, 0) are incomparable in the product order of the ordering 0 < 1 with itself.

Integrated shopping cart for sale of third party products and services via the internet

The current invention includes an improved system for an e-commerce vendor to seamlessly incorporate products and services from a third party into its own e-commerce site. This system enables the e-commerce vendor to display the third party products and to accept orders and arrange fulfillment of these products through its own site in a manner that is seamless to the end user. When the e-commerce retailer requests product information from the supplier, the supplier provides the retailer with product information and URLs at which additional information can be located. The retailer uses this information to retrieve product images, descriptions and information and to display this information to its customer on its own site. Each of these items is tagged with a unique element identifier that contains a number of details about the product. This information tagged to the product image or description enables the product to be easily identified by both the retailer and the supplier. When the customer purchases the products from the retailer, the necessary information is tagged to the product information and, thus, is available for placement of the order with the supplier. This enables the product order to be routed to and fulfilled by the third party supplier in a manner that is transparent to the customer.

Augmented Aggregation of Emailed Product Order and Shipping Information

Product order and shipping information received via email messages is automatically aggregated for ready user review. Once the user is authenticated, authorization to access their email mailbox is obtained and the email message headers of their entails are analyzed to identify those messages of interest. The bodies of the email messages of interest are parsed to extract the product order and shipping information which is stored and presented for display to the user typically grouped by individual product thus greatly simplifying user review of orders. The aggregated product order and shipping information can be augmented with additional information such as shipping status, delivery status, a product image, and / or a last date that the product can be returned.

System and method for centralized, automatic extraction of data from remotely transmitted forms

One or more parameters such as time is reported to a center using a form. The center then automatically extracts data from the form and converts it for storage and subsequent processing or review. The form is preferably a physical form, which the sender fills in and then faxes to the center. Image capture, registration, and feature recognition routines are included to enable the center to extract the reported data with no need for data reentry or human intervention. The invention is particularly suitable for employees who need to submit time sheets, expense reports, and the like to an employer, or for automatic analysis of submitted inventory reports, product orders, etc.

Method and apparatus for container storage and container retrieval

Apparatus for use in a storage and retrieval system for product held in containers is provided. The apparatus includes multiple, parallel spaced-apart support members (41) defining a plurality of rows (20), each adapted to support a base of a plurality of containers thereby forming a container store. One or more conveying means (44) is engageable with containers in a row (20) to transport the containers longitudinally within that row, the conveying means (44) movable transverse and below the rows. One or more loading means (45) is movable transverse to the rows (20) along an end of the rows to enable loading of one or more containers into a selected row. A computer control system automatically controls operation of the loading means and conveying means. The loading means (45) may include a transfer conveyor (49) extending beneath at least a portion of said rows and moveable transverse to said rows below said rows. Product may be stored in a bulk storage zone (27) in which containers of product are stored in frames (50), an intermediate storage zone (40) and a low storage zone (65). A first automated retrieval system retrieves selected stacks of containers from the intermediate storage zone (40), and a second automated retrieval system retrieves individual containers, partial stacks or stacks of containers from the low storage zone (65). Product orders are collated at a collation zone (34) and a conveying means (19) is in communication with each zone for delivering product between zones. Methods of storage and retrieval are also claimed.
