A spectacle lens (2) has an antireflective coating (1). The antireflective coating (1) produces a residual reflection appearing color-neutral not only under illumination with a natural daylight spectrum, but also under an illumination with an illumination spectrum deviating from the natural daylight spectrum. A method for making a spectacle lens (2) having an antireflective coating (1) is described in which an optical lens (2a) is provided and a layer sequence of layers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) with alternately high and low refractive material forming the antireflective coating (1) is applied to the optical lens. The antireflective coating (1) is applied with the proviso that the antireflective coating (1) produces a residual reflection appearing color-neutral not only under illumination with a natural daylight spectrum, but also under an illumination with an illumination spectrum deviating from the natural daylight spectrum.

A base image is created from RGB image signals. A B / G ratio between the B image signal and the G image signal is calculated, and a G / R ratio between the G image signal and the R image signal is calculated. A frequency component-enhanced image in which a frequency component corresponding to an abnormal part different from a normal part is enhanced is generated based on the base image. A composition ratio which indicates the ratio for composing the frequency component-enhanced image with the base image is set based on the B / G ratio and the G / R ratio. The frequency component-enhanced image is composed with the base image at the set composition ratio to generate a structure-enhanced image in which the structure of the abnormal part is enhanced.

In a feature space formed from the B / G ratio and the G / R ratio, first processing is performed for moving the coordinates of a second range to a reference range including the origin in a state where the coordinates of first and third ranges are maintained. In order to make the first range and the third range distant from each other, second processing is performed for moving the first and third ranges. A first special image is generated based on the B / G ratio and the G / R ratio after the first and second processing.
