Molded object having nonwoven fibrous structure

To prepare a shaped product comprising a thermal adhesive fiber under moisture and having a fiber aggregate nonwoven structure. In the shaped product, the thermal adhesive fibers under moisture are melted to bond to fibers constituting the fiber aggregate nonwoven structure and the bonded fiber ratio is not more than 85%. The shaped product has an apparent density of 0.05 to 0.7 g / cm3, a maximum bending stress of not less than 0.05 MPa in at least one direction, and a bending stress of not less than ⅕ of the maximum bending stress at 1.5 times as large as the bending deflection at the maximum bending stress. The moistenable-thermal adhesive fiber may be a sheath-core form conjugated fiber comprising a sheath part comprising an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-series copolymer and a core part comprising a polyester-series resin. Such a shaped product can be used for a building board or the like since the shaped product has a high bending stress although the product is light and has a low density.

Eraser assembly for a rotary tool

InactiveUS20090083916A1Quick and convenient reinstallationEasy to disassembleErasing devicesLiquid surface applicatorsHand heldInk eraser
A two piece eraser assembly for use as a rotary tool attachment for abrading surfaces enables quick and easy replacement of worn eraser disks without requiring the assistance of any hand held tools in either the removal or in the reinstallation process. The assembly, including aftermarket replacement parts therefor, comprise an eraser disk and an eraser hub for mounting and holding the eraser disk. The eraser hub includes upper and lower surfaces, wherein the eraser hub upper surface features a centrally positioned throughbore, a flange at the peripheral edge of the hub and a stub shaft on the lower surface positioned axially with the throughbore. The eraser hub includes a plurality of spaced apertures for engaging with and detachably locking eraser disk extensions on the backside, so the eraser disk is mounted flush with the eraser hub. The upper surface of the eraser disk includes a central recess and an aperture in the recess keyed for axially alignment with the throughbore of the eraser hub. The eraser disk is also equipped with a plurality of abrading teeth running radially from the central recess to the peripheral edge thereof. The lower surface opposite the upper surface of the eraser disk further comprises a plurality of mounting elevations keyed for engaging with the spaced apertures or slots in the eraser hub for securely locking the eraser disk to the eraser hub, avoiding slippage of the eraser disk during operation, while allowing quick replacement when worn with manual dexterity only.

Marker eraser system

A marker eraser system for efficiently combining an eraser with a dry erase marker. The marker eraser system includes a body having a tubular structure and a central aperture extending through the tubular structure. The central aperture extends through an inner end to an outer end of the body. An eraser member is attached to the outer end of the eraser unit to erase a removable ink from a dry erase marker. An outer end of the central aperture frictionally receives an outer portion of a first end of a cap of the dry erase marker to allow a user to removably attach the marker eraser system to the cap of the dry erase marker.

Applicator, applicator cap and a container having an applicator cap

A cap assembly for closing a container. The cap assembly has: (i) an undercap having a cap body with a top end (or wall) and with at least one endless side wall depending from the top end (or wall) to form a housing for receiving the neck of a container; (ii) an overcap having an overcap body with a top end and with at least one endless side wall depending from the top end to form a housing for receiving and engaging the (cap body of the) undercap; and (iii) an applicator having a stem with a first end for engagement with, or integrally formed with, the undercap within the housing, so that the stem projects from the housing, and a second free end for applying product. The exterior of the undercap body has a series of circumferentially arranged teeth for interengagement with a corresponding series of circumferentially arranged teeth within the housing of the overcap. The two series of teeth being interengageable at a number of relative positions, so that the relative orientation of the overcap to the undercap can be selected. As the undercap is adapted to be attached to the container, relative orientation of the overcap and the container is thus also selectable. In an alternative arrangement the two series of teeth form a safety or child proof cap arrangement. However, the application of a sufficient downward force upon the overcap causes the engagement of the two series of teeth allowing a user to rotate the overcap and undercap in unison. Biasing means may be provided to bias the overcap and undercap apart so that pressure must be applied against the biasing means to remove the cap assembly. Applicators are also provided as an assembly comprising an undercap and an applicator which can be assembled by screwing the undercap on a container into which the applicator has first been placed.

Memory management method, image processing apparatus, and memory management program

When encoding and decoding are concurrently executed by sharing one image memory, the present invention is able to flexibly cope with a situation in which a change occurs in the image size subject to processing. A memory allocation processing block receives information about the image size and the number of images that are specified for each of encoding and decoding, individually allocates the memory areas corresponding to the specified image size by allocating these memory areas to the free area in the image memory in the number equivalent to the number of images, and outputs the addresses of the allocated memory areas. A memory area management block holds memory area information in which the correlation between the identification information of each allocated memory area and the access information for accessing each memory area and receives the requests from the encoder and the decoder for using the allocated memory areas and returning the used memory areas, thereby managing the use status of each memory area on the basis of the memory area information.
