Circuit interrupting device with a turnbuckle and weld break assembly

A circuit interrupting device has a circuit interrupter with a stationary contact and a moveable contact. The movable contact is movable relative to the stationary contact between a closed position that allows current to pass through the circuit interrupter and an open position separating the contacts and preventing current from passing through the circuit interrupter. The movable contact is controlled by a solenoid assembly. The movable contact is connected to a plunger of the solenoid assembly by a turnbuckle and weld break assembly. The turnbuckle and weld break assembly permits adjusting the contact wipe distance and generates a hammer force to break any welds between the contacts of the vacuum interrupter.

Protective device with an auxiliary switch

The present invention is directed to a protective device that includes a plurality of line terminals, a plurality of load terminals, and a fault detection assembly coupled to the plurality of line terminals. The fault detection circuit is configured to provide a fault detection output in response to detecting a fault condition. A circuit interrupter is coupled between the plurality of line terminals and the plurality of load terminals. The circuit interrupter includes a first set of contacts, the first set of contacts being configured to close to establish at least one electrically continuous path between the plurality of line terminals and the plurality of load terminals in a reset state. The first set of contacts are also configured to open to disconnect the at least one electrically continuous path in response to the fault detection output to enter a tripped state. An auxiliary switch is coupled to the fault detection assembly. The auxiliary switch includes a second set of contacts configured to decouple at least a portion of the fault detection assembly from a source of electrical power in the tripped state. A latch assembly is coupled to the circuit interrupter. The latch assembly includes a first latch block mechanism configured to close the first set of contacts in the reset state and a second latch block mechanism configured to open the second set of contacts in the tripped state.

Press switch having a force-to-detach function

A press switch includes a base, a contractible pulling rod, an upper casing, and an actuator, and when the actuator is pressed to compress a resilient spring between the upper casing and the actuator, such that the contractible pulling rod and its press terminal move downward until two movable contact points are in contact with two fixed contact points of input / output terminal on both sides of the base to electrically connect to power supply If the actuator is released, the extension of the resilient spring lifts the contractible pulling rod and its press terminal, and thus the two movable contact points are forced to be detached from the fixed contact points of the input / output terminals on both sides, so as to disconnect the power supply. The invention can assure the safety of the use of an electric appliance product such a tool machine.

Switching mechanism

The present invention discloses a switching mechanism (1), which has a main arresting mechanism (2) including a drive shaft (3) and a transmission output device (4) that coupled on the drive shaft; the transmission output device (4) couples with a movable contact supporting (5) in a mechanical way, so as to make an electric contact closed or disconnected because of movement of the contact supporting (5) when operating the drive shaft (3). In order to improve operational reliability of the switching mechanism (1), according to the present invention, an auxiliary arresting mechanism (7) including an actuating unit (8) with a switching shaft unit (9) coupled with the actuating unit (8) is provided; a switch shaft device is coupled with a drive shaft (3) of a main arresting mechanism (2) overa combiner unit (10); a transmission device is provided with at least one tow retainer (11) that cooperates with towing elements (12a, 12b) of the units (8, 9) to transfer a movement of the actuatingunit; the combiner unit (10) is pre-stressed against the movement using a spring element (13) as a over-center spring, in order to press the unit (10) in initial or end position and to allow movementof the shaft unit, and the switching shaft unit (9) is capable of moving dependent with manual operation of the actuating unit (8).

Electrical relay

An electrical relay includes a magnetic system, a contact system and a slider. The magnetic system includes an armature. The contact system includes a moveable spring contact and a fixed spring contact. The moveable spring contact is moveable between an open position and a closed position. The moveable spring contact is in electrical contact with the fixed spring contact in the closed position. The slider connects the moveable spring contact to the armature. The slider transfers movement of the armature to the moveable spring contact. The slider has at least one contact opening element extending there from. The contact opening element strikes the moveable spring contact during movement of the moveable spring contact to the open position to break any existing weld between the moveable spring contact and the fixed spring contact.

Super-small size switch

The switch has an actuator (7) arranged relative to center of a housing base and cover. Terminal contacts (11, 13) are electrically connected with fixed contacts. A contactor (15) is held in one of switch positions by a bi-stable spring arrangement in dependence of the switch position of the actuator. A disconnector (21) is moved by the actuator (7) towards the contact position of the fixed contacts and the contactor.

See-saw switch

A see-saw switch capable of closing the contacts at a high initial contact pressure. The switch includes a housing provided with a fixed contact, and a lever provided with a movable contact at one longitudinal end thereof. The lever is pivotally supported to the housing for pivotal movement about a pivot axis between a contact closing position and a contact opening position. A plunger is slidably supported to the housing for linear movement along an axial direction of the plunger, and has an actuator which is held in slidable contact with said lever for translating the linear movement of the plunger into the pivotal movement of the lever so that, when the plunger moves in a forward direction, the actuator causes the lever to pivot about the pivot axis into the closed position. A restrictor is provided to keep the lever engaged with the plunger in order to restrict the lever from pivoting from the open position to the closed position until the actuator proceeds in the forward direction past a critical point which is offset from the pivot axis by a certain distance towards the movable contact along the lever. Thus, the lever operates to close the contacts only after the actuator past the critical point where it applies a sufficient force to the lever so as to impart the substantial initial contacting pressure between the contacts.
