Computer Program Product For Efficient Scheduling Of Meetings

A computer program product for efficient scheduling of meetings including a computer usable medium having a computer readable program, wherein the computer readable program, when executed on a computer, causes the computer to obtain scheduling information of one or more potential meeting participants that includes a work schedule of the one or more potential meeting participants, a work office location of the one or more potential meeting participants during the work schedule, and a remote work schedule of when the one or more potential meeting participants will work remotely from the work office location during the work schedule; and to schedule a meeting based on the scheduling information, wherein a computer-accessible schedule notation of the meeting is created.

Wind turbine maintenance optimizer

A service planning engine may predict the future wind speed at a wind farm as well as the future price of energy of the utility grid coupled to the wind turbines. Based on the predicted values, the service planning engine identifies times to perform maintenance when lost revenue is minimized—e.g., when the predicted price of energy is low. Furthermore, the service planning engine may calculate a service priority associated with the turbine to determine when to perform service. The service priority may be based on a status signal associated with the component to be serviced or the time window stipulated in the service contract for performing the maintenance. In one embodiment, the service planning engine also considers resource constraints such as labor costs (e.g., work schedules, overtime costs, availability of technicians with certain skills, availability of components, shipping costs, and the like).

System, method, and computer program for managing storage and distribution of money tills or other items

An automated management system for monitoring and controlling distribution and storage of money tills and other items, and linking tracking of employee productivity to time in receipt of a till. The system comprises a cabinet, a control panel, and a personal computer. The cabinet is mounted through a wall to provide an interface having a front side accessible from a first area and a rear side accessible from a second area, such as a cash room. The interior cabinet space is divided into compartments that are selectively accessible from both the front and rear of the cabinet. Items are loaded and removed from the rear by back room personnel and from the front by employees using or distributing the items. The system is operable to anticipate, based upon work schedules, needed items, such as till types or amounts; compile and maintain useful associated records, including employee productivity; and link to other systems to further improve efficiency.

Virtual device based on multiple encryption cards

The invention provides a virtual encryption card based on multiple encryption cards, which comprises a plurality of encryption cards, a load balancing module, a monitoring module, a management module, a redundancy module and a work scheduling module. The invention simplifies the management of the virtual encryption cards, and can concurrently process the concurrent requests among the encryption cards, thereby greatly enhancing the processing capacity; in the aspect of load balancing, the invention realizes load balanced allocation among the cards for each request; by using the multiple card redundancy, the request can switch among multiple cards in a seamless way, thereby greatly enhancing the availability and usability; and in the aspect of multiple card scheduling, the invention completely differs from the traditional request and card binding relation, realizes the independence of requests from cards, reduces the coupling property between requests and cards, greatly enhances the reliability of the encryption card, and can not influence the processing of the application requests due to the abnormity of a certain encryption card.

Interface for a system and method for evaluating task effectiveness based on sleep pattern

An interface for a system and method for evaluating the effectiveness of a person to perform a task based on his / her preceding or predicted sleep pattern is provided. The interface allows a user to use actual sleep data or predicted sleep data to produce predictions of the task effectiveness of a person to perform a particular task. The predictions may be in tabular, graphical, or tabular and graphical format. The interface may also represent the effectiveness of a user based on the actual or predicted sleep data in conjunction with an actual or predicted work schedule or pattern. The results can be correlated to sunlight in the user's location, and can also account for changes in the users location (transmeridian shifts), sunlight during the user's sleep cycle (shift work), and other schedule modifying events.
