Formation of an artificial opening in a fallopian tube.

Fallopian tube occlusion device

A device for occluding the fallopian tube comprising a retention member and a mesh material supported by the retention member. The retention member has a first lower profile configuration for delivery and a second expanded configuration for placement within the fallopian tube. The mesh material is configured to block passage of an egg through the tube. The member has a plurality of tube engagement members to secure the retention member to the fallopian tube.

Methods and devices for fallopian tube diagnostics

Methods and devices for performing minimally invasive procedures useful for Fallopian tube diagnostics are disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the proximal os of the Fallopian tube is accessed via an intrauterine approach; an introducer catheter is advanced to cannulate and form a fluid tight seal with the proximal os of the Fallopian tube; a second catheter inside the introducer catheter is provided to track the length of the Fallopian tube and out into the abdominal cavity; a balloon at the end of the second catheter is inflated and the second catheter is retracted until the balloon seals the distal os of the Fallopian tube; irrigation is performed substantially over the length of the Fallopian tube; and the irrigation fluid is recovered for cytology or cell analysis.

Intrauterine fallopian tube occlusion device

An intrauterine device for occluding orifices of fallopian tubes includes a resilient body having an elongated member with a first end and a second end. The elongated member further includes a first leg ending with the first end of the elongated member, a second leg ending with the second end of the elongated member and a connection member positioned therebetween. A first orifice plug is secured at the first end of the elongated member and a second orifice plug is secured at the second end of the elongated member. The first and second orifice plugs are shaped and dimensioned to seat at the orifices of the fallopian tubes or within the fallopian tubes as the elongated member spreads outwardly with the first end and second end moving apart.

Clamp for fallopian tube recanalization under laparoscope

The invention discloses a clamp for fallopian tube recanalization under a laparoscope, aiming to solve the technical problem on simply, efficiently and safety completing a hydrotubation test, salpingorrhaphy or an operation for cornual implantation of the fallopian tube under the laparoscope. The clamp for fallopian tube recanalization under the laparoscope is provided with a main tube, the front end of the main tube is connected with an openable clamp blade assembly, the rear end of the main tube is connected with a handle, the main tube is internally provided with a pull tube, the front end of the pull tube is articulated with the clamp blade assembly, the handle controls the rear end of the pull tube to enable the main tube to move back and forth, a guide tube penetrates through the pull tube and the clamp blade assembly, and the rear end of the guide tube is connected with a needle head of a syringe. Compared with the prior art, in the invention, by means of the clamp blade assembly and the pull tube for controlling the opening of clamp blades, the pull tube inside the clamp blade assembly ensures that the guide tube can directly enter the interior of the fallopian tube, the rear end of the guide tube is connected with the syringe for carrying out the hydrotubation test, and the guide tube is used as the internal stent for the fallopian tube so as to be beneficial to fallopian tube anastomosis and cornel cornual implantation of the fallopian tube, so that the technical level is improved and operation time and operation cost are saved.

The invention discloses a preparation method and an application of a tissue slice for observing temporal-spatial distribution of early embryo development in vivo. The preparation method comprises the following steps that 4% paraformaldehyde fixing, upward gradient ethanol dehydration, wax dipping, embedding, serial section, baking, dewaxing and downward gradient ethanol rehydration are performed in sequence on oviducts or uterine tissues which contain mice embryos in every period, and finally, after haematoxylin-eosin staining is performed on the tissues in the slice, neutral gum is used for sealing the slice, or after immunofluorescence histochemical staining is performed on the slice, a fluorescence resistant quenching sealing agent is used for sealing the slice. The tissue slice disclosed by the invention can be used for manufacturing a map of early mice embryo development and detecting the expression of Crb3 in the mice embryos in every period of development in vivo. The preparation method has the advantages that positions of all organs in the embryos can be relatively fixed, so that the position change of embryo cells in a genital tract and the continuity of embryo development can be conveniently observed, the structure is clear, and the tissue slice is convenient to store.

Oviduct recanalization therapeutic catheter with air bag and capable of automatically being fixed

The invention discloses an oviduct recanalization therapeutic catheter with an air bag and capable of automatically being fixed. The oviduct recanalization therapeutic catheter comprises a taper-shaped fixator, an outer sleeve positioned behind the taper-shaped fixator, a main catheter penetrating through the taper-shaped fixator and the main sleeve and a detachable inner-layer oviduct catheter mounted in the main catheter. The oviduct recanalization therapeutic catheter is simple in structure, has multiple using methods and can be applied to multiple therapeutic methods. When the oviduct recanalization therapeutic catheter is used, traumas to patients' uterine necks caused by multiple catheter inserting during therapeutic processes are effectively avoided, clinical operation difficulty is greatly reduced, and meanwhile, therapeutic costs and expenses are saved.

System and method for fallopian tube occlusion

A system for treating a fallopian tube to promote contraception includes a catheter device, a tissue disrupting head coupled with the catheter device, and a fluid delivery port for delivering a sclerosant to the mucosal lining of the fallopian tube before, during or after disruption of the mucosal lining by the tissue disrupting head. The catheter device may include a handle and a catheter shaft having a proximal end coupled with the handle and a distal end sized and configured to be advanced through a cervix and into the fallopian tube. The tissue disrupting head may include at least one tissue disrupting member configured to operable to mechanically disrupt a mucosal lining of the fallopian tube by contacting the tissue disrupting member with the mucosal lining and moving the tissue disrupting head. The fluid delivery port may be located in the catheter shaft or the tissue disrupting head.
