A medication injector apparatus such as an injection pen. The injection pen includes a resettable, cartridge plunger drive assembly including an axially floating nut, a cartridge plunger engaging screw, and a drive clutch movable with the nut and which when rotated causes the screw to screw through the nut. When a cartridge assembly is mounted to the pen base, the floating nut and drive clutch are shifted proximally such that the drive clutch is in torque transmitting engagement with a rotatable drive member of the pen, such that rotation of that drive member results in drive screw advancement through the nut in the distal direction. When the cartridge assembly is not mounted to the pen base, the floating nut and drive clutch are biased distally to disengage the drive clutch from torque transmitting engagement with the rotatable drive member and to thereby allow the drive screw to be reset proximally through the nut to a position more retracted within the pen base. The injection pen also may include an injection clicker assembly having a collar arranged coaxially on a drive sleeve and which oscillates axially on the drive sleeve that rotates during medication dispensing to provide an audible clicking sound that indicates injecting use of the pen. The injection pen also may include a doseable quantity identifier that uses a rotational matrix and a sensor for electrically sensing the arrangement of the dose setting mechanism of the pen, which identifier may be part of a therapeutic dose indicating system that utilizes a cartridge recognizer to recognize a concentration of medication so as to allow an automatic determination of a therapeutic dose. The injection pen further may include an assembly for selectively rotating a drive sleeve of the pen, which assembly has a dial that rotates out during dose setting and which translates in without rotation during dose injecting.

A method is described for augmenting sponsored search results in a search engine, which includes extracting attribute data from a plurality of natural searches for a search term linked to a plurality of uniform resource locators (URLs), analyzing the attribute data of one or more attributes for clickers and non-clickers to determine at least one greatest distinguishing factor between the clickers and non-clickers, and integrating the at least one greatest distinguishing factor into a matching algorithm used by the search engine to rank order and display a plurality of the most relevant ads corresponding to the plurality of URLs in response to a search for the term. The method may also integrate the at least one greatest distinguishing factor into a marketer algorithm to enable a marketer of a URL to strategically choose a search term, along with the at least one greatest distinguishing factor, on which to bid.

An apparatus is disclosed for aiding in the speed and simplicity of the adjustment of the clicker-style cam bolts employed by TRA-type snowmobile drive clutches, manufactured by Bombardier Recreational Products. The apparatus comprises a barrel type nut with a collared head and a compression wire spring which fits telescopically over said nut and against said collared head, and a locking set screw to secure the apparatus against rotational movement or removal. This assembly replaces the conventional hexagonal lock nut presently used on TRA-type drive clutches. This apparatus enables the user to change the linear position of the cam bolt in the drive clutch housing to enable the hexagonal head of the clicker-style bolt to clear its respective hexagonally indexed pocket, which is molded into the drive clutch housing, and to be turned to any one of six different degrees of rotation, thereby changing the shift-out RPM setting of the drive clutch quickly and with greater ease than conventional methods.

A device for generating and delivering control signals to a computer has a housing with a top foot engaging surface on a top portion. Roller bearings captivated between the top portion and a base portion are disposed in moving engagement with a plate, thereby allowing the user's foot to move the top portion relative to the base. Optical sensors detect movement of the top portion and transmit electrical signals to a microcontroller which interprets the linear directional movement relative to X and Y coordinates. In one embodiment, magnetic switches are provided in a keyboard to perform left and right click operations, wherein a magnetic ring worn on the hand of the user is selectively passed over either a left or right magnetic switch to perform the left or right click operation. An aquatic doll is used to test and train rescue and life saving skills. The doll has a torso and has arms, legs, and a head all connected to the torso. The torso, arms, and legs are all substantially hollow and define a plurality of holes for filling the doll with water. A pair of feet are weighted and attached to the legs for breaking the surface of the water and causing the legs to sink initially when the doll is positioned on the water. Preferably, the head can be turned from side to side for a rescuer to simulate a water clearing technique during a rescue. In addition, the head can be tilted and has a moveable jaw for a rescuer to simulate a jaw thrust method in CPR. Finally, a spring and clicker mechanism is positioned in the hollow of the torso for simulating chest compression techniques of CPR.
