The respective measured signal qualities associated with the first and second antenna patterns are compared.

A method for operating an access point in a wireless local area network (WLAN) is provided. The access point includes a directional antenna for communicating with a plurality of remote stations, and the directional antenna includes an omni angle and a plurality of directional angles. The method determines a preferred direction to the point the directional antenna from the access point to a desired remote station. This determination is based on a sequence of probe signals exchanged between the access point and the remote station. The probe response signals are measured by the access point, and are stored in an antenna database.

We planarize the conductive buffer layer to form a buffer pad in the buffer opening. We form a passivation layer over the buffer pad and the buffer dielectric layer. We form a bond pad opening in the passivation layer over at least a portion of the buffer pad. We form a bond pad support layer over the buffer pad and the buffer dielectric layer. We form a bond pad layer over the a bond pad support layer. The bond pad layer and the bond pad support layer are patterned to form a bond pad and bond pad support.

A vehicle roof structure is disclosed that includes a front roof rail, a pair of front roof rail braces and a pair of A-pillars. First ends of the front roof rail braces are fixedly coupled to opposite ends of the front roof rail. The pair of A-pillars each has an inner A-pillar panel. The present invention is for an inflatable cervical cushion which adjustably reinforces the neck to support the cervical spine in a proper lordotic position, alleviating neck pain caused by improper posture and fatigue. The cushion encircles the wearer's neck and rests on the wearer's shoulders, and contains a compartment with an inflatable cushion centrally located in the back of the cushion. The inflatable cushion is of a rectangular or oval design which is positioned horizontally in the back of the neck such that the thicker center portion of the cushion supports the cervical spine and the thinner end portions support the surrounding musculature. In addition, there is a vertical extension from the top of the cushion which supports the base of the skull, or occiput, thereby supporting the skull at the same time of supporting the cervical spine. Support is provided when the wearer is seated and the cushion creates pressure between the wearer and the back of a chair. The cushion is inflated by manual means such that the firmness and pressure of the cushion is totally adjustable.

The bone plate is configured with a channel that receives a reduction wire so that the reduction wire may extend between the bone plate and a reduction wire mount such as a bone screw. Methods of use of the present invention include fastening the bone plate to a first side of the fracture, fastening a reduction wire mount to a second side of the fracture, fastening a reduction wire to the reduction wire mount, receiving the reduction wire in the channel, applying tension to the reduction wire to draw the bone plate and the reduction wire mount together thereby reducing the fracture, and fixating the fracture by fastening the bone plate to the second side of the fracture.

It includes a top layer made of memory retention foam, a middle layer made of foam and having a convex shape that is higher along a longitudinal center line than along the two sides, and a lower support layer made of foam. The present invention relates to a baby carrier consisting of shoulder straps and a main panel. The purpose of the seat compartment is to fit a seat insert to receive the baby's weight when being carried in the carrier. The waist belt can also be attached to and detached from the main panel with the seat compartment by way of an interlocking mechanism. The seat compartment can also be part of the waist belt that can be attached to and detached from the main panel, by way of the interlocking mechanism, so that in can be used independently from the carrier as a seat support. The seat insert can be extended further into the main panel in form of a back rest, to create more support for the baby.
