The invention provides a pelleting method for preparing a multi-millet-seed pellet to improve the
drought resistance and
sowing quality of
foxtail millet seeds. The pelleting method comprises the following steps: subjecting
foxtail millet seeds to
winnowing and sieving, then rinsing the seeds with
salt water with a concentration of 5%, removing impurities and then
drying the seeds in the air; weighing parent soil of
quaternary Malan
loess, adding clear water accounting for 15 to 20% of the
mass of the air-dried parent soil, carrying out standing for 30 to 60 min, then adding hydroxypropyl methylcellulose glue with a concentration of 0.5% and carrying out uniform mixing under sufficient stirring so as to prepare clay; and weighing one part of carefully chosen
foxtail millet seeds, adding the clay weighing 30 to 40 times the weight of the foxtail millet seeds, carrying out uniform mixing under slow-speed stirring, carrying out rolling and pressing so as to obtain a clay sheet with a thickness of 8 to 10 mm, longitudinally and transversely
cutting the clay sheet into square blocks by using a fine steel wire at an interval of 8 to 10 mm, sprinkling a small amount of
bentonite powder on the surfaces of the square blocks, rocking and rolling the square blocks in a dressing
machine, then taking out the square blocks, carrying out
drying in the sun or low-temperature
drying and then carrying out storage. The invention also provides a
sowing method. According to the
sowing method, a sower is employed for hole sowing or an
airplane is employed for sowing. The sowing method is also applicable to aerial seeding of grass into loose soil after raining.
