A method for footprint image retrieval

The invention relates to a method for footprint image retrieval. The method comprises the following steps: pre-training a model through ImageNet data; adopting the pre-trained model to perform cleaning and expansion preprocessing operation on footprint data, dividing the footprint data into a plurality of data sets with different purposes, adjusting a full connection layer and a classification layer of the model, adopting parameters of the pre-trained model, and using the footprint data sets to perform model retraining; storing the secondarily trained model, removing a classification layer ofthe model, and performing feature extraction on the images in the image library and the retrieval library to form a feature index library; connecting the features extracted by the three models to forma fusion feature, and establishing a fusion feature vector index library; extracting image features in a to-be-retrieved image library in advance, establishing a feature vector library, and when a single footprint image is input, carrying out distance calculation in the retrieval library and the image library, and outputting an image with the highest similarity. The footprint image recognition and retrieval functions are realized.

System and Method for Improved Forensic Analysis

A system and method for analyzing a forensic sample. A forensic sample is illuminated nondestructively with light of a first wavelength λ1. A first image of the forensic sample is imaged using light emitted at a second wavelength λ2, the second wavelength filtered by a multi-conjugate tunable filter. A second image of the forensic sample is imaged using the light emitted from the sample at a third wavelength λ3, different from λ2, the third wavelength filtered by a multi-conjugate tunable filter. A calculated image of the forensic image is then created from the first image and the second image. The disclosure also provides for obtaining a processed image by applying a chemometric technique to the calculated image and for identifying the sample as a known forensic material by searching a reference database for a match to either the calculated image or the processed image.

Three-dimensional palatal wrinkle recognition method based on fractional Fourier transform

The invention relates to a three-dimensional palatal wrinkle recognition method based on fractional Fourier transform and belongs to the technical field of forensic identification of human body biological characteristics. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring three-dimensional palatal wrinkle point cloud data in a mouth scanning mode; performing isometric slicing standardization processing on a three-dimensional palate wrinkle image; performing blocking and binarization processing on a palate wrinkle slice profile image; constructing a palatal wrinkle slice profile image database; extracting fractional domain characteristics of a palatal wrinkle curve in the palatal wrinkle slice profile image through fractional Fourier transform; carrying out feature selection on the fractional domain features based on an SVM-RFE method, and then selecting an optimal feature vector combination; and finally, carrying out three-dimensional palatal wrinkle identification. According to the method, the complexity of three-dimensional palatal wrinkle image recognition is simplified, rich palatal wrinkle slice profile curve characteristics can be extracted from a time domain and a frequencydomain by utilizing fractional Fourier transform, and the palatal wrinkle recognition effect is improved.
