The invention pertains to electronic devices capable of dynamically changing their ornamental or decorative appearance, i.e., the outer appearance as seen by a user. The electronic devices generally include an illuminable housing. The illuminable housing, which includes at least one wall configured for the passage of light, is configured to enclose, cover and protect a light arrangement as well as functional components of the electronic device. The light arrangement, which generally includes one or more light sources, is configured to produce light for transmission through the light passing wall(s) of the illuminable housing. The transmitted light illuminates the wall(s) thus giving the wall a new appearance. That is, the transmitted light effectively alters the ornamental or decorative appearance of the electronic device. In most cases, the light is controlled so as to produce a light effect having specific characteristics or attributes. As such, the electronic device may be configured to provide additional feedback to the user of the electronic device and to give users the ability to personalize or change the look of their electronic device on an on-going basis. That is, a housing of the electronic device is active rather than passive, i.e., the housing has the ability to adapt and change. For example, the light may be used to exhibit a housing behavior that reflects the desires or moods of the user, that reflects inputs or outputs for the electronic device, or that reacts to tasks or events associated with operation of the electronic device.

Method and a system for controlling a lighting system

The present invention relates to a location commissioning method for a lighting system, which comprises several lighting arrangements. Thus, an illuminated position, of for example a room, is selected for the performing the commissioning, which is then associated with that position. This commissioning is called Luxissioning™. The position is assigned a position id, and the light at the position is measured. Light data associated with each one of the lighting arrangements is derived from the measured light, and the light data is associated with the position id. Light transfer data is determined on basis of the light data and current drive data for the lighting arrangements and stored in a light effect setting array for the position id. A light effect setting method is also present, where there is requested a selected light effect at a selected position. For each such request data comprising a position id and a target light effect setting associated with the position is received. The associated initial light effect setting array is derived, for example by retrieving a stored one. Required drive data for the relevant light arrangements, for obtaining the target light effect setting, is determined by means of the light transfer data held in the array, and adjustments are made accordingly, if necessary. Devices and systems for performing the above methods are also addressed by this invention.

The method comprises steps of firstly obtaining the rendering request of the virtual scene and the model to be rendered and the standard material library; creating a read and write file including the corresponding relation among the scene parameter, the model and the material according to the rendering request, and selecting a material corresponding to the model to be rendered from the pre-established standard material library after loading; setting and adjusting the scene parameter according to the rendering request, rendering the model according to the selected material and adjusting the material parameter to complete the rendering satisfying the specified rendering request; when a single model corresponds to a plurality of materials, directly subjecting the plurality of materials to a three-dimensional presence UV mapping on the surface of the three-dimensional model; and generating a high light effect and its corresponding material by the hand-drawn trajectory according to the rendering request, and rendering the model's high light effect. The method has the advantages of high efficiency, openness, automation, integration of tools, light weight, sustainability, and the like on the basis of greatly improving the efficiency of virtual scene and model rendering.

In the invention, the eigenvalue of the electric network cyclic wave is used as synchronous signals, and the signals are captured and counted; the count value is used for representing the time base run by system application program, and the timing error requirement of the control system is balanced; and the conventional timing method of time base circuits such as crystal oscillator, capacitance resistance oscillator and the like is utilized as another time reference used for representing time. The LED dynamic colored light set of the invention consists of a plurality of separated LED dynamic colored lights. The use of the light set is similar to the use of electricity-saving lamps used for lighting commonly, but the light set is used in groups according to lighting effect or the quantity of the lamp holder in luminaire. The LED dynamic colored light set can not only be used separately as colored lanterns or advertising lamps with pictures and words, but also be arranged in ordinary luminaire as the quick-wear part of the ordinary luminaire.
