The invention discloses a commercial district division method based on cost distance grids. According to the method, spatial commercial activity elements are selected and constructed, cost grids are formed through symmetric difference
processing, and cost values of grid units represent prices for crossing the units; and meanwhile, a
continuous field model is used to express geographic spaces of the grids, distribution grids are obtained through analytical calculation of cost distances, and therefore commercial district division is realized. The method comprises the steps that multiple spatialcommercial activity elements are selected and constructed; the symmetric difference between the commercial activity elements is calculated, and
regular grid data is obtained to serve as a cost layer needed for cost distance grid operation; a source layer of a to-be-divided commercial district is selected; each cost distance grid is calculated; and the commercial district is divided according to the distribution grids. Through the technical scheme, needed
detailed data components within the commercial district can be provided during
site selection and shop setup; and
macro decision-making
technical support such as commercial district development planning,
layout and commercial development potential area analysis can also be provided.
