235 results about "Action plan" patented technology

An action plan is a detailed plan outlining actions needed to reach one or more goals. Alternatively, businessdictionary.com defines an action plan as a "sequence of steps that must be taken, or activities that must be performed well, for a strategy to succeed".

System, method and model for autonomic management of enterprise applications

Methods, apparatus and system programs are provided for holistic monitoring and troubleshooting an application where the application functionally depends upon a plurality of components on a network system and at least one of the plurality of components being selected from a group consisting of a network component, a hardware component, and a software component. The method includes collecting data from the components and analyzing data collected from the components to discover one or more issues in the components. The analyzing step includes considering domain knowledge of the components and considering the interrelationships and correlations between components working within the application. The method function includes diagnosing the issues in the components to determine an action plan.

Agricultural robot system and method

An agricultural robot system and method of harvesting, pruning, culling, weeding, measuring and managing of agricultural crops. Uses autonomous and semi-autonomous robot(s) comprising machine-vision using cameras that identify and locate the fruit on each tree, points on a vine to prune, etc., or may be utilized in measuring agricultural parameters or aid in managing agricultural resources. The cameras may be coupled with an arm or other implement to allow views from inside the plant when performing the desired agricultural function. A robot moves through a field first to “map” the plant locations, number and size of fruit and approximate positions of fruit or map the cordons and canes of grape vines. Once the map is complete, a robot or server can create an action plan that a robot may implement. An action plan may comprise operations and data specifying the agricultural function to perform.

Remote pharmaceutical administration device

The present invention provides a wireless communication system that includes a remote pharmaceutical administration device and a pharmaceutical network administration apparatus. The remote pharmaceutical administration device includes a monitoring device for monitoring the vital signs of a patient, an analysis processor for receiving the vital signs, a transceiver for transmitting the vital signs over a network and receiving an action plan over the network, and administration means for administering a prescribed medication to the patient. The remote pharmaceutical administration device can also include pre-stored pharmaceuticals and a remotely-run testing apparatus, such as an EKG machine, a blood sugar monitor, or a sphygmomanometer. The pharmaceutical network administration apparatus includes a network transceiver for receiving an action plan over the wireless network and a network processor that develops instructions. The network transceiver transmits the instructions over the wireless network.

Multi-dimensional, expert behavior-emulation system

An expert decision-making method is emulated based on a history of behaviors by experts in a variety of observed situations. The history of behaviors is built up from observations of actions taken by experts in analyzing a plurality of situations. Situation data representative of a situation to be processed is received, and situation features are extracted from the situation data. Each situation feature is associated with an expert behavior method used to process the situation. A behavior method is recognized from a pattern of situation features. Recognizing a behavior method is based on feature / method separation data in multidimensional space of features into areas with each area associated with a method used by experts. Parameter values for parameters in the recognized behavior method are calculated based on the situation features. The calculation of parameter values is accomplished by recognizing parameter calculation rules and calculating the parameter values using the rules. A parameter calculation rule for each parameter in the behavior method is recognized from a pattern of situation features. Recognizing a parameter calculation rule is based on feature / parameter-calculation-rules separation data of multidimensional space of features into areas with each area associated with a parameter calculation rule used by experts. The recognized behavior method is executed on the situation data using the calculated parameter values to recommend a solution for the situation. The recommended solution has solution data representing a plan of action to provide the solution and remainder data representing unprocessed situation data. A test detects whether the remainder data is in a target range. If the remainder data is not in the target range, the actions to recommend a solution are repeated until the test detects the remainder data is in the target range.

Distributed power generation plant automated event assessment and mitigation plan determination process

A system is disclosed for detecting predefined events occurring in operating power generation equipment at a customer location and for diagnosing and responding to the predefined events. The system includes a plurality of sensors at the customer location for monitoring the power generation equipment and collecting operating data from the power generation equipment, a monitor at the customer location for analyzing the operating data collected from the power generation equipment and for determining if any of the predefined events occurred during operation of the equipment, a management system at a location different from the customer location for storing and retrieving historical data pertaining to the operation of fleet power generation equipment and to the occurrence of the predefined events in the fleet power generation equipment, an analysis platform for analyzing whether any predefined events have occurred, the analysis platform including a first program resident in the monitor and a second program resident in the management system, and a plurality of coaching tools for using the collected operating data, determinations by the on-site monitor of whether any of the predefined events occurred, and historical data to determine the likely cause of any predefined events that have occurred and an action plan for responding to the events or to predict the consequences of the events and determine preventive action plans in response to the events.

System and method for providing technical support through a remote session

A system and computer implemented method for providing technical support through a remote session. The method begins by receiving, at a customer support servicer, a customer support request. Next, a customer support server routes the customer support request to an available analyst based on one or more conditions. The method proceeds to commence a remote session between a user's computing device and the available analyst's computing device. The issue / query is identified next, followed by generation of an action plan to solve the issue. Following this, the analyst transfers the remote session and the action plan to a technician. Finally, the technician implements the action plan on the remote session to solve the user query.

Customizable metadata merging framework

One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that facilitates merging different versions of a database object. During operation, the system receives metadata associated with a first version of a database object and a second version of the database object. The system then compares metadata associated with the first version with metadata associated with the second version to create a difference report. Next, the system uses the different report to create an action plan that specifies how to merge the metadata associated with the first and second versions of the metadata object.
