I/O circuit and data transmission control method

An I / O circuit includes buffers, a storage module, accumulators, timers, and an arbiter. Each buffer corresponds to a respective virtual channel. Each buffer corresponds to a respective token bucket, and outputs a normal transmission request according to the amount of tokens and an accumulating signal. The storage module stores a lookup table including a plurality of weightings. Each accumulator corresponds to a respective buffer, accumulates a data volume according to the corresponding weighting, and outputs the accumulating signal. Each timer corresponds to a respective buffer, times waiting period after the corresponding buffer outputs the normal transmission request, and outputs a time-out transmission request when the waiting period exceeds a predetermined period. The arbiter receives the time-out transmission requests and the normal transmission requests, and selects one of the buffers from all of the time-out transmission requests and the normal transmission requests.

Display panel for display device

The present disclosure provides a display panel for a display device including a touch electrode divided into first touch unit sensors having a first size and second touch unit sensors having a second size different from the first size. When a horizontal or vertical size of a second touch unit sensor is compared with a first touch unit sensor, the vertical size of the second touch unit sensor is smaller than that of the first touch unit sensor when the horizontal size of the second touch unit sensor is larger than that of the first touch unit sensor and the horizontal size of the second touch unit sensor is smaller than that of the first touch unit sensor when the vertical size of the second touch unit sensor is larger than that of the first touch unit sensor. Therefore, an area deviation of touch unit sensors forming a touch electrode is minimized and thus uniform and superior touch performance may be provided.

Document size conversion

What is provided is a system and method for resizing documents, for example, from legal size to a standard size. Document sizes are changed by adding or decreasing an amount of white space between lines of text. In one example embodiment, a multi-page document having a specified displayed page size is received. The multi-page document includes a plurality of text lines having respective specified font sizes and respective inter-line spacing. An inter-line spacing value within the current page is determined. The inter-line spacing value within the current page is reduced by a difference in size between the specified displayed page size and a target displayed page size. The font size of the document is retained. If the document size, after changing the amount of white space between lines, still exceeds a predetermined amount, an image magnification technique is used to complete the change in document size.

Printed circuit board

A printed circuit board (PCB) is disclosed. The PCB includes a dielectric layer, a power layer, a ground layer, and an electromagnetic interference reducing layer. The dielectric layer includes a central portion and a periphery portion surrounding the central portion. The dielectric layer defines a number of via holes through the periphery portion. The ground layer is adhered to a surface of the dielectric layer, covering both the central portion and the periphery portion. The power layer and the EMI reducing layer are separately adhered to another surface of the dielectric layer facing away from the conductive ground layer. The conductive power layer covers the central portion. The EMI reducing layer substantially covers the periphery portion and is electrically connected to the ground layer via the via holes.

A laser driver to drive an LD in the shunt mode and driven with signals complementary to each other is disclosed. The driver includes two FETs of the enhancement and a terminator. Two FETs are connected in parallel with the LD and driven by the complementary signals but have sizes different from each other. The terminator is connected between respective gate terminals of the FET. The driver further includes a capacitor that compensates the difference in the size of two FETs, which is substantially equal to a magnitude of the junction capacitance of the FET. The capacitor is integrated with the FETs.
