An anchoring device for anchoring a line in a skull bore hole comprises a base part and a cover that tightly closes the base part. The base part has a fastening element for fastening the base part in the bore hole and a passage opening for feeding the line from the bore hole to an outside of the anchoring device. A contact surface extending between the bore hole and the outside for laying the line is present in the base part. The contact surface is curved in a constant direction so that the line is guided from the skull interior to the outside in a constant direction and at a radius of curvature that is greater than or equal to a predefined minimum radius of curvature. Said anchoring device allows a line to be lead out of a bore hole of a skull at a flat angle without the line being bent too greatly or even kinked.

Hummingbird feeder

A safety hummingbird feeder having a substantially cylindrical reservoir, an elongate feeding tube, and a cap. The reservoir has a reduced surface area and is intended to hold a limited amount of liquid sugar solution to reduce or eliminate spoilage and molding. The feeding port tube is made of soft, flexible material and may include a plurality of slits configured to prevent a withdrawing hummingbird from injuring its bill. The hummingbird feeder maximizes safety for a feeding humming bird by reducing or eliminating intestinal injury commonly caused by ingestion of spoiled and / or molded liquid sugar solution and the flexible feeding port tube minimizes the risk of bill injury for a retreating hummingbird.

The catheter does not require a separate sharpened instrument to enable insertion into an anatomical passageway. The sharpened needle of the catheter remains disposed within an anatomical passageway during treatment. Also disclosed is a catheter assembly comprising the catheter and a safety inserter. The safety inserter has a blunt end and facilitates the insertion of the catheter by providing a mechanism to urge the sharpened needle of the catheter into an anatomical passageway. Also disclosed is an improved needle tip which minimizes trauma to an anatomical passageway. Also disclosed are methods of using and forming the catheter, catheter assembly and needle tip.

Lift ramp

An adjustable ramp apparatus installed as part of a flat surface, such as a deck, adapted for angular elevation to an inclined position for providing a ramp between the platform level and the entryway door sill level of a trailer-type home. The apparatus is elevated by means of an actuator-driven mechanical linkage located under the surface of the primary ramp platform adjacent to the trailer type home or structure. When the actuator is disengaged, the ramp returns to a lowered position so that the door to the home is not blocked. An alternative embodiment includes a secondary threshold ramp located beneath the surface of the primary ramp platform that moves into place as the apparatus is actuated to fill the gap between the door sill and the elevated primary ramp platform.
