An inline skateboard capable of being propelled by leg motion of a rider and which includes a platform supporting the rider along with a front wheel truck and a rear wheel truck. Each of these wheel trucks carry a single wheel. Moreover, the wheels are capable of slight turning movement transversely with respect to the platform and provide a high degree of maneuverability and turning capability. The wheels on each of the trucks are offset with respect to a pivot axis for each of the trucks. In addition, the axis of rotation of the front wheel is displaced rearwardly of the front pivot axis and the axis of rotation of the rear wheel is displaced forwardly of the rear pivot axis. Further, the angle of displacement of these pivot axes with respect to the axis of rotation is the same. Each of the wheels have relatively flat riding surfaces and relatively flat side walls with arcuate connecting sections extending between the flat side walls and the relatively flat riding surfaces, such that only the outer edges of the wheels are arcuate in shape. This construction provides for highly effective maneuverability and steering capability.

Spherical mobile robot with shifting weight steering

A mobile, spherical robot includes a spheroid shell, an internal assembly secured to the shell, and a head disposed atop the shell. The internal assembly is disposed within the shell for propelling the mobile robot. The internal assembly includes a base, a weight-shifting steer mechanism secured to the base, and a drive assembly rotatably secured to the spheroid shell, and a pivoting arm secured to the base. The drive systems propels the mobile robot by rotating the spheroid shell about the base. The head is secured to the magnetized end of the pivoting arm through the spheroid shell. The weight-shifting steer mechanism shifts a ballast weight so as to move the center of gravity and inducing a turn.

Agricultural Implement

An agricultural implement includes first and second outer harrows positioned adjacent front and left sides and front and right sides of a frame, respectively, at generally opposite diagonal directions. Third and fourth harrows are similarly positioned adjacent rear and left sides and rear and right sides of the frame, respectively, at generally opposite diagonal directions. The implement may include inner harrows positioned to close gaps left by the outer harrows and positioned at generally opposite diagonal configurations. Each harrow includes a plurality of discs and a chain with a plurality of links that are rotatable about the longitudinal direction of the chain so as to affect multi-purpose actioning of the soil by being able to level the surface rather than dragging material while also breaking up or uprooting weeds or stubble. Left and right sides of the frame are foldable upwardly and inwardly for transport and storage.

Foldable ladder structure for automobile cargo bed

InactiveUS20190176707A1Efficiently turnEffectively turningSteps arrangementEngineeringPivot joint
A foldable ladder is provided for an automobile cargo bed and includes a mounting base mounted to a sideboard of the cargo bed. The mounting base has a bottom part that is pivotally coupled, by means of a first pivot joint unit, to a pivot axle, which is pivotally coupled to a pivot joint end of a frame to form a second pivot joint unit. Two side portions of the frame are respectively coupled to extension / retraction bars that are extendable outward from an operation end. Ends of the extension / retraction bars are pivotally coupled through a third pivot joint unit to ladder assembly that includes rungs. The foldable ladder positionable between the cargo bed and the ground in an expanded condition and is positioned against the sideboard of the cargo bed so as not to occupy the space of the cargo bed.

Gateway-Based Anti-Theft Security System and Method

Improved systems and techniques are disclosed for controlling the security states of anti-theft security systems such as product display assemblies using security fobs. The tasks relating to fob authentication are offloaded to a computer system, and these authentications can be based on identifiers for the different security fobs. The interactions between security fobs and product display assemblies can be consistent regardless of the population of authorized security fobs by using a security code that is shared by the security fobs. When attempting to use a security fob to change a security status for a product display assembly, the provision of the code to the subject product display assembly can be predicated on authorization of the subject security fob by the computer system. The computer system can maintain a list of identifiers for authorized security fobs that is easily updated when new security fobs are added to or existing security fobs are de-authorized from the system.
