Threaded hoist ring screw retainer

An omni-positional hoist ring assembly including a bushing element that includes a sleeve with an axial length, a proximal end and a distal end. A load bearing flange is radially disposed about the proximal end of the sleeve. The sleeve has an internal thread extending at least part way of the axial length of the sleeve. A mounting screw element has a major axis, a head, and a shank disposed generally co-axially around the major axis. The shank includes a threaded shank portion and a bearing portion. The bearing portion is a generally cylindrical axially extending portion of the shank that has a diameter approximately equal to the minor diameter of the thread in the threaded shank portion. A thrust washer element is provided between the head and the distal end of the sleeve. A body element receives the in-turned opposed ends of the legs of a lifting loop element in sockets. The lifting loop is free to pivot. The body element is free to rotate about the sleeve, so the lifting loop will self align with a load that is applied to it from any direction within a hemisphere centered on the major axis of the mounting screw element. The elements of the hoist rig assembly are assembled by aligning them and inserting the mounting screw element into the sleeve and threadably advancing it until the bearing is aligned with the internal thread so further rotation of the mounting screw element does not threadably advance the mounting screw element relative to the sleeve.

Retaining keeper assembly for a hoisting device

A retaining keeper assembly for a hoisting device. A shank has a plurality of circumferential grooves perpendicular to an axis of the shank. A thrust bearing surrounds the shank and is supported by the hoisting device. A split retaining collar having a plurality of interior circular protrusions mates with the circumferential grooves in the shank to prevent axial movement of the shank. A cylindrical retaining collar cover having a closed top and an open bottom encloses the retaining collar, the cover having an inner diameter slightly larger than an outer diameter of the retaining collar. A fastener mechanism fastens the retaining collar cover to the split retaining collar and to the shank.

Transmission shaft support unit

The invention discloses a transmission shaft support unit, belongs to the technical field of bearing production, and mainly solves the problem of damage of the transmission shaft support unit caused by easy release of a support bearing and function loss of a rubber pad in the prior art. The transmission shaft support unit is characterized by comprising a support base, a rubber shock pad, a support bearing and a sealing ring, wherein two snap spring grooves and a large inner snap spring are arranged in an inner hole of the support base; honeycomb blind hole grooves are formed in two peripheral end surfaces of the rubber shock pad; two snap spring grooves, a small inner snap spring and a waveform spring are arranged in an inner hole of a metal ring; the support bearing adopts an inner-outer ring integrated four-point contact ball bearing; an outer lip of the sealing ring is fixed in the inner hole of the metal ring; and the inner diameter of a sealing lip is lightly contacted with and fits the outer diameter of the inner race of the support bearing. The transmission shaft support unit has the characteristics of improving the axial bearing capacity of the bearing, reducing the axial impact load, improving the torque resistance and preventing the release of the support bearing to prolong the service life of the bearing, and is mainly applied to an automotive transmission shaft support unit.

Swivels

A swivel comprises a first body component and a second body component with an interconnection assembly for interconnecting the first and second body components and to allow mutual rotation of the first and second components about a swivel axis. The swivel further includes a rotation limiting arrangement which, in a release condition, allows free mutual rotation of the first and second body components and in a first or a second locking condition restricts mutual rotation of the first and second body components. A user control is operable to selectively cause the rotation limiting arrangement to adopt one of a locking condition and the release condition. In the first locking condition, the rotation limiting arrangement prevents mutual rotation of the first and the second body components and in the second locking condition, the rotation limiting arrangement, allows limited mutual rotation of the first and second body components by less than 360°.
