Fuel cell system

A fuel cell system has an inlet shutoff valve provided in a main route forming an oxidized gas supply flow path, a humidifier bypass valve provided in a humidifier bypass route which is a route bypassing the main route, a fuel cell bypass valve provided in a fuel cell bypass route bypassing a fuel cell stack, and fuel cell bypass valve controlling unit. Under abnormal conditions in which one of the inlet shutoff valve and the humidifier bypass valve does not function even if the pressure in a valve opening pressure chamber of the one of the valves is at a first pressure value, the fuel cell bypass valve controlling unit restrict the opening of the fuel cell bypass valve to increase the pressure in the valve opening pressure chamber.

Throttle opening controller for small planing boat

A throttle opening controller for one embodiment of a small planing boat includes: a throttle valve for changing the degree of opening in response to displacement of a throttle lever; a remaining fuel amount detector; a fuel consumption calculating means; and a throttle opening limiting means. In one embodiment, when a remaining fuel amount detected by the remaining fuel amount detector is equal to or below a preset value L1, the fuel consumption calculating means starts calculating total fuel injection amount. When a value, obtained by subtracting the total fuel injection amount from the preset value L1, is equal to or below a threshold L0, the throttle opening limiting means determines the degree of opening of the throttle valve based on an opening rate (k). An internal space of a fuel tank can be divided using a vertical partition into plural chambers. In addition, a knock sensor can be provided for an engine.

Measurement of curing

A method for increasing productivity and quality in production of cured polymer by a real time measurement of the progress of curing, in a mould cavity, which being filled with a compound to be cured, wherein a signal is generated by a wave at an ultrasonic or equivalent frequency, which is transmitted through the mould cavity, the time for the wave to pass through the compound in the mould and back is detected, and the detected signal being analyzed in a suitable data processing computer , to establish a graph showing a relationship between the time for the wave to pass through the compound in the mould and back, and the time of the curing of the compound. The graph is used to determine a feature of the compound by identifying at least one specific parameter of the graph, and using said parameter to control the production.
