optical axis direction of the first compensation film layer is parallel to the initial
optical axis direction of
liquid crystal molecules in the
liquid crystal layer.When
optical anisotropy is generated by the opposite substrate and the array substrate under the condition of bearing uneven external force and the polarization state of permeating light is changed, the first compensation film layer can compensate for the phase
delay of the polarization light passing through the liquid
crystal layer, after light passes through the opposite substrate, the array substrate, the liquid
crystal layer and the first compensation film layer, the total phase
delay is nearly or equally integer multiple times of the
wavelength of incident light, and light restores the original polarization state to a certain extent. In this way, in the
dark state, most of light cannot emit out of the display panel, and the dark-state light leakage problem is solved.
