34 results about "Facial geometry" patented technology

Face (geometry) In solid geometry, a face is a flat (planar) surface that forms part of the boundary of a solid object; a three-dimensional solid bounded exclusively by flat faces is a polyhedron.

Human eye positioning and human eye state recognition method

The invention discloses an eye positioning and eye state recognizing method, wherein first setting an self-adaptive threshold value to pretreat a face image, according to the face geometry character, designing an eye classifier, positioning eye initially, for some edge images, based on the symmetry face and eye, accurately positioning eye, thereby providing a method for positioning face symmetry axis based on lip auxiliary positioning, then dividing one eye from a positioned eye binary picture, according to the black pixel character of pupil, judging the eye state. The inventive method has real-time property, with the application for different backgrounds, lights, rotation and bias angles, and face details or the like to position eye and recognize eye state.

Facial expression synthesis method based on generative adversarial network

The invention puts forward a facial expression synthesis method based on a generative adversarial network. The method comprises the following main contents of a geometric guidance facial expression synthesis and facial geometric operation. The process of the geometric guidance facial expression synthesis and facial geometric operation comprises the following steps that: firstly, giving a heat picture with a target facial expression and a front face without expressions to correspondingly synthesize a new face image; then, carrying out weighted summation on all loss functions to obtain a total loss function; thirdly, adopting the geometric positions of one group of datum points to guide facial expression editing, and using an expression synthesis model to obtain a facial expression transferring result; and finally, linearly regulating a shape parameter value to carry out facial expression interpolation. By use of the method, the geometric guidance generative adversarial network can be used for generating vivid images of different expressions from single image, the synthesis image is subjected to fine granularity control, facial expression transfer and interpolation can be easily carried out, and facial expression transfer and cross expression identification can be realized.

Multiview face capture using polarized spherical gradient illumination

A multiview face capture system may acquire detailed facial geometry with high resolution diffuse and specular photometric information from multiple viewpoints. A lighting system may illuminate a face with polarized light from multiple directions. The light may be polarized substantially parallel to a reference axis during a parallel polarization mode of operation and substantially perpendicular to the reference axis during a perpendicular polarization mode of operation. Multiple cameras may each capture an image of the face along a materially different optical axis and have a linear polarizer configured to polarize light traveling along its optical axis in a direction that is substantially parallel to the reference axis. A controller may cause each of the cameras to capture an image of the face while the lighting system is in the parallel polarization mode of operation and again while the lighting system is in the perpendicular polarization mode of operation.

Near-instant capture of high-resolution facial geometry and reflectance

A system may almost instantly capturing high-resolution geometry and reflectance data of a portion of a human subject. The system may include multiple cameras, each oriented to controllably capture an image of the portion of the human subject from a different location in space; multiple lights, each oriented to controllably illuminate the portion of the human subject from a location in space significantly different than the location in space of the other lights; and a controller. The controller may divide the cameras into subgroups with each subgroup of cameras containing at least one camera and with each camera belonging to only one of the subgroups; cause each subgroup of cameras to sequentially capture a single image of the portion of the human subject; and cause at least one of the lights to light while each subgroup of cameras captures a single image of the portion of the human subject. The system may include an image processing system that generates the high resolution geometry and reflectance data based on only one image from each camera.A polarizing optical element may be between each camera and the portion of the human subject. A polarizer filter may be between each light and the portion of the human subject. A controller may cause all of the cameras to simultaneously capture a single image of the portion of the human subject while the portion of the human subject is illuminated by all of the lights. The specular reflections from the portion of the human subject that are captured by one of the cameras may have a color distribution across the portion of the human subject that is different than the specular reflections from the portion of the human subject that are captured by another of the cameras.

Method for making makeup mask by 3D (three dimensional) printing

The invention discloses a method for making a makeup mask by 3D (three dimensional) printing. The method comprises the steps of A, scanning a face to be made up; b, processing data; C, preparing a makeup mask material; D, sending the fully mixed makeup mask material to a 3D printer and printing a mask completely matched with the geometrical characteristics of the face to be made up; E, performing mild laser sintering on the printed makeup mask, so as to form a nanocrystal net-structure makeup mask; F, spraying skin care components on the surface, in contact with the skin of the face, of the makeup mask subjected to the laser sintering. The method has the beneficial effects that an artistic performance performer only needs to wear the personalized makeup mask on the face before performance, and makes up on the mask; meanwhile, the inside components with skin care effects can be added in the mask in contact with the skin of the face, and skin care can be realized during performance.

Techniques for sculpting digital faces based on anatomical modeling

Techniques are disclosed for creating digital faces. In some examples, an anatomical face model is generated from a data set including captured facial geometries of different individuals and associated bone geometries. A model generator segments each of the captured facial geometries into patches, compresses the segmented geometry associated with each patch to determine local deformation subspaces of the anatomical face model, and determines corresponding compressed anatomical subspaces of the anatomical face model. A sculpting application determines, based on sculpting input from a user, constraints for an optimization to determine parameter values associated with the anatomical face model. The parameter values can be used, along with the anatomical face model, to generate facial geometry that reflects the sculpting input.
