The invention discloses a method for preparing a solid catalyst component for an olefin polymerization reaction. The invention provides a catalyst component for olefin polymerization. The catalyst component comprises elemental magnesium, elemental titanium, halogen and internal electron donors, wherein the internal electron donors are composed of a ketoimine compound as shown in a formula I which is described in the specification and an aromatic ester compound as shown in a formula II which is described in the specification.
