Fastener assembly

A fastener assembly configured to secure a first panel with respect to a second panel includes a base having lateral wings connected to a central post. The lateral wings and the central post converge at a distal tip. Each of the lateral wings includes a first outer surface and a second outer surface, wherein the first outer surface is inwardly angled toward the distal tip. The fastener assembly also includes angled retaining ledges located between the first outer surface and the second outer surface. The angled retaining ledges are canted in a non-parallel fashion with respect to a plane of at least one of the first and second panels. The angled retaining ledges allow for safe and easy removal of the base from at least one of the first and second panels.

Muscle training apparatus and method

The invention is directed to a muscle trainer and method for exercising a weaker of two opposing muscle groups of a person swinging an implement, such as a golf club, wherein, if the two opposing muscle groups were of appropriate strength, the two muscle groups would desirably apply forces in opposite directions to the implement to assist in maintaining the implement in an ideal club shaft plane. The contemplated muscle trainer of this invention includes a body having a grip surface located thereon, and a force generator positioned at a prescribed location on the body, which is spaced from the grip surface, for urging the prescribed location of the body in a direction away from a force direction which the weaker muscle would normally apply to the implement in the swinging thereof by the person. The invention further contemplates a method exercising at least a dominated muscle of two opposing muscles typically used by the golfer when attempting to swing a golf club in an ideal club shaft plane, where the dominated muscle applies a first swing force to the golf club in a non-dominating swing force direction, and a dominating muscle applies a second swing force in a dominating swing force direction to the golf club which is opposite the direction, and exceeds the force, of the non-dominating swing force.

Adjustable mount for securing a camera, video camera, etc. to another member

An adjustable mount is disclosed for securing a piece of equipment 12 to another member. The adjustable mount includes a first member attachable to the other member and an elongated member secured at one end to the first member. A sphere is attached to the opposite end of the elongated member. A pair of plates is aligned parallel to one another and is spaced apart by a set distance. Each of the pair of plates has an aperture formed therein which is sized to mate with a portion of the sphere to enable the pair of plates to rotate, pivot and / or swivel on the sphere. The adjustable mount further includes a support structure secured to the pair of plates which is capable of having a piece of equipment 12 attached thereto. Lastly, the adjustable mount includes an adjustment mechanism capable of changing the set distance between the pair of plates.

Pegboard bracket assembly

An improved bracket assembly is specially fabricated and adapted for mounted installation upon a conventional pegboard panel or like support surface to hold products and promotional materials in merchandising displays. The present bracket assembly comprises upper and lower clip arm members rearwardly directed in a bifurcated manner with each clip arm member having respective pronged clips for separate aligned engagement with the pegboard panel, an extendable channel strip arm member forwardly disposed having a channel strip segment attached thereto, and a junction box assembly intermediately positioned and adapted to engage the respective arm members and lock them in their respective position on the pegboard panel. The junction box assembly includes an upper box cover and lower box base formed to fit in a substantially closed configuration and adapted to be clamped together by a locking screw vertically disposed therethrough. The box cover is formed having lateral surfaces with aligned holes for sliding engagement of the channel strip arm and the base formed having transverse ribs embossed along its bottom surface to urge upon the channel strip arm when the junction box is clamped. The locking screw further engages a loop section formed in the upper clip arm member at the top of the junction box to retain the upper clip member and lock it in mounted position upon the pegboard panel.
