The invention relates to a method for making a choice between a D2D cooperating
multicast mode and a fixed
relay cooperating
multicast mode in a cellular
system. Based on the fact that the sending speed is limited by the poorest channel quality of users in
multicast transmission and based on the rule that the users with the poorest channel quality are usually distributed on the edge of a
community, transmission of one jump is divided into transmission of two jumps with good channel quality so that the higher
data transmission speed and the larger
throughput capacity can be achieved. The method comprises the steps that the utility values of the fixed
relay cooperating multicast mode and the D2D cooperating multicast mode at the second jump are compared according to the actual conditions, so that the optimal
transmission policy is selected, and the overall operation utility value of the cellular
system is increased. According to the method, the advantages of the two cooperating
relay multicast
modes are effectively combined, the relay mode is reasonably selected, the transmission speed of a multicast service and the coverage rate of the users at the edge are improved, the overall utility of the cellular
system is optimized, and better user experience can be obtained; operation steps are simple,
computation complexity is low, the technology is easy to achieve, and popularization and application prospects are good.
