Abstract

The invention discloses a POSS-based adsorbent for heavy metal ions and a preparation method of the adsorbent, and belongs to the fields of environmental protection and material science. The adsorbenthas a structure represented by a formula (I) shown in the description. The preparation method comprises the following steps: performing a thiol-ene click chemistry reaction by using octavinyloctasilasesquioxane and mercaptothiadiazole as raw materials at room temperature to obtain the POSS-based adsorbent having the characteristics of the structure represented by the formula (I) for the heavy metal ions. The method provided by the invention is simple, high-efficiency, green and controllable, has mild reaction conditions, a simple treatment process, and discards a noble metal catalyst (such asa metal platinum catalyst) or complicated and harsh reaction conditions used in preparation of an adsorbent in the prior art; and the obtained adsorbent has the advantages of a fast adsorption speed,high saturated adsorption capacity and stable adsorption performance.
